This week had been fun…besides the rain L
It just so happens to be the wettest summer in 51 years..I am sooo happy I am able to be here for it! Not!!
Anyway was like normal….playgroup. My phone completely died on me, so I didn’t get any of Kerry’s calls as she franticly called me I guess. Jonah had cracked his moler in half or something so she was seeing if I could bring Val to playgroup. She couldn’t get a hold of me so she ended up dumping him off at Kathryn’s. But the girls were happy when they saw him, and that we still got to walk to playgroup together, since Kathryn lives next door lol Half way through playgroup Kerry showed up and Jonah was completely fine she was just over reacting lol So we went home and had lunch and did whatever. Then Kathryn called and wanted to see if the kids wanted to come over. So we wnet over and played all afternoon. Then that night I don’t remember what we did, I think we just watched some t.v.
Wednesday, it was actually somewhat warm an sunny out and so I was off to school with the girls and the off to the Towers. I went to go see if they could fix my phone…they were completely useless. I knew more about phones then they did. Then finally their solutions was to send it away for 2 weeks that would cost me $50 and then give me a loner phone for $50 bucks. So it would cost me $100 just because they are sooo stupid. I don’t think so! I will just use the ghetto old one. So then I went home and hung out with Pip and the Baby. She is being really good. She just sleeps, poops, and eats!! Mostly sleeps. I feel so bad because most the time Pip just leaves her in her cot (crib) or puts her in a little bouncer thing. But I just wanna hold her!! She only has been waking up once in the night soo they are really happy about that. I went to go get the girls and as I was walking the clouds were getting darker and darker, I made it there before it started raining. But on our way home it started to sprinkle. Imogen was acting weird, and she got up into my face for something and I looked at her and she had the starting of Pink Eye…noooooooooooo!!! I wasn’t for sure but her eye just looked weird. So I was being all paranoid, not letting her touch anything and washing my hands every 2 seconds lol Went to meeting, where nobody was. Took 4 different people to ask for a ride before I found someone that was going lol I was supposed to be Sandra (Alyce’s Mom) householder, but I hadn’t heard anything from anyone so I txt Alyce to ask if it was for sure tonight or what the deal was, she said that she actually will be doing the talk and that she had to drop her friend off at the airport so she’s stuck in traffic and probably wont make it…then she stopped txting me. So I am heading to the meeting having no clue what the plan is. When I get there a sister comes up and said that Alyce emailed her the talk at 6:45 and that we will be doing it together lol So we practice it once , it went fine but still I would like to be clued in on some things, how hard is it to email me the talk so I can look it over or just txt me whats going on…and I know they have their phones because they are constantly on them. Whatevs.
Thursday morning wake up to find that Imogen’s eye is bright red and oozed shut when she woke up! Ewwwie…nooooo!! So I stripped my sheets, I was freaking out. I was sooo paranoid that I was gonna get it. Needless to say she didn’t go to dance with us. She stayed home with Pip, which she seemed pretty happy about. So me and Madeline went to dance, went and had lunch. Went and bought some lollies for Imogen and her. Then when we headed home…it started raining…not just raining dumping!! I had to walk in the rain a few times but this was the worst…it was just sooo wet! I just started laughing…it was just sooo ridiculous. I was just dripping wet. A few people that drove my looked at me and gave me a sad face, but I didn’t care I was sooo over it. So when we got home I had to change out of ALL my clothes…everything was soaked. When Pip saw me she just started laughing, because the only time it rained the whole day was that 20 min that I was walking home, it wasn’t raining anymore lol When I went to change I saw that pip had changed my sheets and tidied my room. Sometimes she treats me like a little kid, but I don’t care lol she doesn’t do it becaue she thinks I cant or wont she just has nothing to do. Anyway so Imogen was still all oozie, but she seems pretty upbeat. So the girls played for awhile and then Kathryn came over to bring some stuff for Imogens eye. She then said that she would take Madeline over to play for awhile. That was fine by me. So when we were saying by to everyone and they all were headed down the driveway, Imogen all yelled all loud, “Bye Madeline” and it was in this sad, sick little voice and it was sooo heartbreaking. They never do anything with out each other soo it was just sooo sad!! So we went and put on the stupidest movie ever (Return to OZ) which the girls love, and with in 10 min Imogen was asleep. I just went into my room and played on the computer. Until Imogen started crying. Then she threw up , then she said her ear hurt, then she threw up again, then she wanted mommy (who was also taking a nap) then she wanted medicine, then she didn’t. Then finally I bribed her to take the medicine then we could go see mommy. So we got upstairs and Pip is just passed out, Im surprised she didn’t hear Imogen. So I told her that she should just go lay in her bed and then she fell aleep. Right as she finally fell back aleep, Kathryn was bringing Madeline back. So I got her dinner, and it was nice because usually have to sit there and force feed Imogen to eat anything. I gave her a shower and that was that. Pip finally got up and woke Imogen up…im not sure why but she was actually pretty good. Didn’t eat anything, but she just kinda played around. Adam was at a Work Christmas party or something and so me and Pip watched Wife Swap and FourWeddings, and our girly shows!
Friday, Adam took off from work, but he was hung over from the party and he was a bit sick with a cough. So he slept most the morning which was annoying cause I was trying to get the dumb cleaning done. I just didn’t the quieter things and then at around 11:30 I decided I was just gonna start vacuuming because I didn’t want to drag it out any longer and it was late enough that he should have been out of bed. I just did my thing and then about an hour later they come down stairs and said that they were gonna go shopping. So they took the girls with them which was nice, but I don’t think Imogen should’ve gone but whatev. And they left Trinity with me! ♥ So when they left I had nothing else todo so I was just gonna watch some telly, and Trinity was sitting there awake in her jumper soo I just held her!! Pretty much the whole time there were gone. She is just sooo little and cute, how could you not! So I had nothing going on that night, that I heard of and I cant txt anyone because I don’t have anyone’s numbers on my ghetto phone soo I just stayed in and watched a movie with Adam and Pip. We watched Overboard! I love that movie its so funny!!
Saturday I had plans to meet up with Rachel (Bry’s friend from abck home). I was gonna stay the night but she said her fam had plans on Sunday so we were just gonna spend the day in the city together. So I had to start my journey at 10:30..walked to the bus stop, get on the bus and then drive all the way into the city about 45 min drive. Then from the first stop into the city I had to get off and walk about 10 min walk down the Circular Quey, where all the ferries come in. So we had planned to meet at Warf 4...so I get there and im looking around. I don’t see her, so I stop and im just standing there, I have never met her in person so I was thinking, we should of planned this better like say what we were gonna wear or something. But then there she was, standing against a pole waiting for me. I think I screamed..a good scream, like a “AHHH there you are” kinda scream lol So we said our Hellos and then off we went. First we headed down towards the Opera House, we were gonna do a tour but then thought that might be boring. So we just walked around it and got some pictures:
Then right behind the Opera House is the Botanical Gardens…so we sorda walked through there. They have these really cool big trees, so we were gonna take our Pictures in front of it and I was trying to do my timer pictures, and it sorda worked but then this random nerdy goes comes from nowhere and is like “Here ill take the pictures for you ladys, if you will take one of me” So he takes them and then when we go to change cameras, Rachel asked how he wanted the picture..and he said “With one of you girls” hahaha so I was like well lets get a shot of you first then maybe ill get in it lol So he goes and poses and then I jump in there and im sitting like 5 ft away from him but he all leans over like he wants it to look like were together or something. It was sooo funny. Only to me that would happen.
After that we went and walked to The Rocks area and they had all their markets up and found some really cool stuff. Got some sojourners, I am trying to stalk up. Then we got some lunch at this little café. After that we wandered into the city some and looked in some shops. Awhile later we had to go back and meet up with her cousins and Aunt and Uncle. First we just met up with the kids and got Ice cream. And of course the little girl is drawn to me at once. She kept wanted to hold my hand and she had a million and ten questions to ask me. When we were eating our ice cream she asked how old I was, I was like “Im old im 21” and her response was “Really? Cause you act a lot younger” lol even little kids can tell im immature lol Anyway so it took us forever to find their parents and we just kind wandered around lol Finally we found their dad and she said we had dinner reservations in like 15 min. So we headed over to the restaurant and thought we would try some planking on the way, in front of everyone. Were not so good at it lol
I gave up fast!
So it ended up being Chinese place and so I just ordered some terrioki chicken…I didn’t trust anything else. So the whole dinner conversation was pretty much get to know Lyndsey. It was good though. Everyone seemed to like me enough, the dad even invited me to spend the night at their place. He was pretty pushy but in a good way, he just really wanted me to hang out. Hes was all “You can fit into Rachel’s clothes, it will be perfect ! You can sleep with the girls and Alex will get on the couch it will be perfect!” How could I say no to that. And the plan was to play beach volleyball after meeting!! I couldn’t pass it up!! So after dinner they all went back home. Me and Rachel went out to Kingscross for a drink.
I had been there before but when we were looking for a place to go we walked down a bit farther then I had before and it was total ghetto stripper clubs, totally safe area but gross clubs. So we turned right back around and just went to a place I had been before that was perfect. So a while later we headed back to the Harbor. I think I wore her out, we walked A LOT and I am used to it know but when we got to the ferry and bought our ticket we had some time to spare and she was like “ Lets just sit here and watch people” lol It was funny though when she bought her ticket, she paid with a $50 bill so she got like $45 back in coins lol everyone behind us was laughing but I think I was laughing the most.
Anyway so we got on the ferry and it was like a 20 min ride. It was neat seeing the city from a different perspective and all lit up at night. They live in Mosmin, which is just on the the other side of the Harbor. So her uncle came and picked up and brought us back to their apt. When we got there everyone was excited. I don’t think the kids have had much company over the last few months. American anyway. They live in Tacoma also but they have been here since Sept. and are leaving in middle of Jan. so its been awhile for them. So I got settled in, some were watching tv some were on the computer. Everyone was freaked out because they had a Huntsman spider in the house. They aren’t poisonous but their bite hurts really bad supposable.
The dad, Randy was all up for a game of dice. So we played, I had never played before but I totally creamed them. I am really good that this beginners luck thing lol Then we went to bed. The four of us girls all slept together.
The next morning we all got up and we were planning on going to meeting but the dad went somewhere and got stuck in traffic or idk what happened. So we all just went over the Watchtower together. After thast we headed down to the Manly to meet up with everyone for Volleyball. It had been soo perfect and sunny all day but of course as soon as we get to the beach it just starts dumping rain. So we go to a few of the shops and then head down to where the Volleyball nets are, even though it was raining we thought some people might be down there. When we got there, there was only one guy, Jono. He was the guy that invited them all so we stayed and talked to him for a bit. Then went home. When we got back to the apt. we just hung out. Emma the little girl had me playing a million different card games. Then we went up to the store to get stuff to make cookies. Alex the boy said he made the best cookies, and he didn’t realize who he was going up against. So we had a bake off! Lol Then we had dinner and most of us went for a walk down to the beach! It was a perfect night after all the rain earlier in the day. But everyone was sooo freaked out about the spiders. Because supposedly they all come out at night. We did see a couple pretty big ones. Once we got back all of us kids played spoons for quite awhile. It was fun, I love spoons. But this time it was about 11 and I was gonna take the 11:15 ferry back to the city and go home. But once we got down to the peir, there was no 11:15 ferry. The schedule online was completely wrong. Annoying!! So we went back home and and went to bed since I was gonna have to get the earliest one out of their in the morning at 6:20. So bright and early at 6 am they bring me down to the pier. I take the ferry back to Circular Quey and then have to walk like 10 min to the bus stop and then get on the bus to head home. I usually txt Adam if im not coming home or whatever, just because. But I didn’t that night because it was later when we figured out I wasn’t gonna be able to come home. So as I was sitting on the bus I got a txt..”You alive??” So I txt’d him how I missed the ferry yadda yadda and that I will should be home right at 8. He said he didn’t care when I got home as long as I was safe. I thought that was nice. That whole bus ride home it was just raining and I was just soo annoyed cause I was still gonna have to walk home from the bus stop. So after I got off the bus, I had Pips umbrella but it was all doinked out but it was good enough. About half way home, there’s Adam..he came and found me to drive me home!! J I got home right at 8 and everything went as normal.
Except when I got home I had absolutely no voice. It started going on Sunday, but by this time it was gone!! It was funny because Rachel said that “Its funny that you lost your voice, because all the stories I have heard about you , your really loud and now you can barely talk” lol I thought that was pretty funny!! What was even funnier was when the girls saw I was home they came to say HI and I obviously couldn’t talk. Imogen asked what happened and I said I lost it, and she just looked at me. Madeline said I sounded weird. Then all the sudden Imogen yelled, “I know what happened!! Ursula took it didn’t she??” all I could do was laugh…well more like wheeze!! But that’s how much they believe that I am Ariel, its sooo cute!! That night we were all watching Tv and Adam Jumped up and said, “I forgot to show you what I got” So he ran upstairs and came back down shooting a Nerf Tommy gun at my face. He was sooo excited!! So him and Alex went and bought these guns and are planning on having a big war. So me and Adam sat on the couch taking turns at shooting practice. Trying to hit targets and stuff. It was really fun!! J
