Australian Parties? Whats the deal??

Weeks are going faster and faster and everything is going along like it usually is soo i keep forgetting things..I always say "Oh im gonna put that in my blog" But Monday rolls around and i forget. I need to start writing down the good stuff.

Tuesday Kerry was busy so she couldn't take Val to playgroup so she asked if he could go with the girls. So he came over around 9:30ish and they just played and ran around all wild. I was getting ready togo. I think its funny whenever there is another kid over i kind just let them do there thing and never watch the kids lol Oops!

It was cold and raining so playgroup was inside and its alot easier to watch all the kids that way. Its funny alot of the moms just look after their own kids, but i am always looking out for whoevers closest to me.  I usually always have to yell at Val or Jonah but Kerry doesn't care and then James is at his obsessed with mommy stage so when Kathryn is dealing with Will...which is alot i try and help her with him because he likes me!! And i have red hair like Kathryn so it might help!

So Val came home with us and they were all crazy playing for awhile and then they were being to crazy so i put on a movie and they all zoned out. Kerry finally came and that was that.

Wednesday...school! I wake up and its just pouring rain....not just drizzling like the last few days, just dumping buckets. Of course on the day i have to walk the farthest and push the stupid freaking pram because they have soo much crap to bring to school..its raining.  So when i got out of bed finally, the girls were eating breakfast and Adam was just leaving he all had a dumb look on his face and was all, "Enjoy your walk to school"  Sooo annoying. So i sat down with the girls and must of zoned out looking at the rain , because Pip came in the room and was like "Its pretty bad out there..maybe you should txt Kathryn?" That gave me some hope...she has been helping out, driving Pip around alot lately and shes just a stay at home mom, so she didnt have to go to work or anything. So i txt her..and she said YES, and that she would be there in half an hour!! HALLELUJAH...HALLELUJAH!!!! She said she was surprised that none of the other nannies have never asked her before because she is always happy to help. I told her i would remember that lol

So when she got here...she just had dropped Will of at his school so we left James with Pip and strapped the girls in and went to Kindy! Its amazing at how short of a distance it is when your in a car.

When we went back to get James she asked if i wanted to go up to The Towers cause she was...and i actually did need too! To get stuff for the party this weekend.So she drove me up there....and then when we got there we both kinda just went a did our own thing.. I was making special cookies soo i thought it would be easier to get some vanilla frosting and then dye it whatever color. But i looked in at least 3 different super markets and they apparently didnt have canned frosting..which sucks because canned frosting is the best!!! lol they only have these weird little packets of frosting mix.  So i got one of those. But then she txt me about 10 min before she was leaving to see if i wanted a ride back..and it was still dumping rain so i went with her, plus i didn't need to spend any more moo-lah!!

By this time it was like noon so i still have a few hours todo whatev...and i was hoping the rain would die down by then too.  But then Kathryn txt me saying that she would go pick up the girls for me, i just needed to call the school. YAY!! This horribly rainy day was working out pretty good for me.

So she came and dropped her boys off with me and went to get the girls. After they came back, the plan was to take Pip to the doctor and she asked if the boys could just stay here with me. It was fine, Will is sorda like a tornado just kinda has to get every toy out and plays with is for 2 sec and then leaves it everywhere. So as long as you stay with them and sorda help clean up as they all play its not to bad. So by the time they got back and she got the boys ready and left, it was way past dinner time for the girls soo we ate and showered real fast. Then i got ready for meeting and right as i was ready they were there...who knew where the time went. Meeting was meeting.

Thursday was gloomy but not yet rainy. But this whole week has just been cold compared to what is was the week before. So anyway we got ready and headed to dance. Half way there.....rain started...not totally dumping but enough to soak me. The girls are sitting cozy warm and dry in the pram with its rain cover on and im just getting soaked. I figure i would rather get wet..then try and hold an umbrella and push the pram because it would be so awkward that i would probably get just as wet. I was just sooo over the rain. Then the girls were like my "my foot is getting dripped on" and as the rain is dripping off the end of my nose i just wanted to get there and didn't want to deal with them, so i kept snapping back, "Well my whole body is soaked so deal with it"

By the time we got there i didnt want todo anything..i just wanted to be dry. So i went under the blowers in the bathroom for a few min. Then i decided to stay and watch the girls dance.  It was soo funny...they barely pay any attention to the teacher and are just doing their own thing. I wass cracking up at all the kids. After they were done we went and had lunch and then went to Maccas like usual and had an ice cream cone and they played in the play area forever. I almost on a name to name basis with the people that work there lol just because we pretty much go there every week lol i dont know if thats a good thing or not lol  By the time we were headed home..it was done raining but i was still wet. I changed into some sweats and we all just watched a movie. Then the girls wanted to play Barbie..on the computers....they are obsessed with this..they can do it for hours. One girl uses mine and then the other uses Pip's so they just sit there at the table and do dress up games. You think it would give me time todo whatev..but noooo because they crazy click and the game goes away..screaming...they didn't want that game...screaming......screaming...they need help because they want the game the other girl has......yelling...for me to look at the girl they dressed up. So i ended up just sitting right in the middle of them so i didnt keep having to come back. I just sat there and did my nails lol

The door was open and i was all cold soo i got my blankly and was all wrapped up in it. Pip just laughs at me because she says its not cold. But Imogen has this obsession with being cold and needing her blanket ALL the time and Pip thinks its because of me. Oops sorry!

That night i got to skype with Sarah!! Before we knew it we had been skyping for 3 hours!! Crazy..but we could of kept talking. I am sooo glad that all my friends and family stay up late. Its usually between 12am to 2am when i am talking to them!!! 

Friday...cleaning. Ugh...i usually dragg out this morning as much as possible. I don't mind doing the floors but i hate doing the whole bathroom thing. I had to make my cookies for the party today so i thought we should do that before i vacuumed. So we made the cookie dough but it had to sit in the fridge for at least an hour. So then what else could i do to stall cleaning...hmm lets tidy my room. So i was getting all my stuff together...got all my rubbish together. I went to throw it out in the bin and outside the door was 2 big boxes!!! One of them said USA Foods..that there made me excited!!!

So i threw out the bag and ran over to the boxes..both of them for ME!! YAY!!

The first one i opened was the food one lol i needed to know what was inside..so i could shove my face with it. There was chocolates and Mike N Ikes and REDVINE!!! My weekend was complete!♥ My mommy is the best! Total surprise!  Its funny earlier in the week my friend emailed me and was saying how her and her husband are trying to go vegan and my response to that was..."Why in the world would you wanna do that and waste all the yummy food that America has to offer..you are taking advantage of the yummy food" So when i got my yummy food i was happy!!Then the next box(From Meggy)  which i knew was coming but had no clue what it was. I opened it and it made my day...no no it made my year!! It was a special calender!! ;) 

Finally i decided i should clean after all the excitement. 

So i headed up stairs..then Pip said she had already did the bathrooms up there last night!! YAY

So i did my bathroom and the floors real quick. Usually when the floors are drying we go to the little park across the street but what do you know its still freaking raining!!! So we just stayed went into the kitchen and finished making our cookies. For the party i had Shoe..Tiara..and Nija-bread men cookies cutters.  So the girls were excited about the shoe and crowns.  They all tuned out really well the kind crazy ones or the broken ones..the girls got to decorate. I know thats kinda mean but they didn't care lol They were more excited about eating the frosting and putting a million sprinkles on.

I was waiting to see if i got a txt to do anything because I knew some people were in town..but nope nothing..i tryed to not let it get to me but whatev..i will just spend another Friday night doing nothing. So i ended up watching a movie with Adam and Pip. They went to bed at like 9..so then i decided i should start decorating my cookies. Its just easier when no ones around. Also so that pip doesn't see how big of a mess i can make lol Anyway i had no clue how to frost them..i knew i was gonna do pink and purple but i had no clue how i was gonna get across that they were nija men..cause the plain white cookie looked like a blob. So then i figured it out and just went at it. 

I think they turned out cute!

Next morning i woke up with every intention to go out in service. I looked outside at the pouring rain and rolled right back over in bed! I just couldn't deal with it anymore..its soo annoying.  

So i slept in a little..then i got to Skype with Meggy! ♥  I got all ready to go and txt Alyce that if she needed any help i could come over. No response. Then i txt Rachel, if i could get a ride over to the Yew's....Oh shes already there. Maybe i can ask someone else..but if i get stuck let her know.  So i txt Elise if htey could come get me. No response. During this time it had stopped raining and the sky was clear and it had gone up over 20° so now it was roating hot. At least it was good for the BBQ.  Finally around 3:30 (Suprise party is at 4) I txt Rachel agian saying i txt'd Elise and i got no respose i didt want to wait til last min. Her response...well i cant right now, have you tryed calling them?  So right at i am about to call them Elise txt me back saying, We are still at a study, were gonna be late but if you need we can still get you.  What other choise did i have?? So we got there around 5..and hour late! I wanted to yell surprise :(

So i did... after i got there said hi to peeps..i only knew half the people. I went and found Rachel and said "Suprise Im Here" lol I like her...she usually always laughs at everything i do!  Obviously people down here don't party much they just "chill." So i of course even becing an hour late have to get the party started!!!

First up...start the kareoke. Im sure some people (Tong) wished i hadnt..but it got the ball rolling and then other people started doing it. Then we ate...then we ate dessert. I was gonna take photos...had my camera out and everything but one of theor friends had a professional camera and asked her to take a bunch and so i firgured i get them off her. Its just so much easier!! lol Then everyone was just sitting around doing nothing. I heard there was gonna eb dancing soo i was like lets go...lets do it!! Once we started daning i didn't stop..except for maybe 2 songs. There was only like 10 people at the most dancing at a time which was fine. It was in the theater room so it wasnt a huge place so it didn't seem to awkward but like evryone just sat around outside. A few people would come in for like 1 song and then leave. It was funny because me and this one other black guy were there the whole time. It just made me laugh. It was sooo hot in there too..there was like no air flow and because of all the amps it gets really stuffy and it was just disgusting how extremely sweaty i was. Finally a few hours later...i was the last person in there..so i went out to see what everyone was doing. They were all sitting int he exact same spots i had left them in. By this time most of the people had left and it was just the usual peeps. Sooo we just hung out and did nothing like always. Its just sooooo different then American parties.

Sunday...bright and beautiful and hot! :) 

Slept inn...did my Watchtower. Skyped with the rents.

This afternoon their was a farewell party for a little old couple in the cong. and so me and Alyce went to the store and got slurpees(i appricate that other people aprricate slurpees like i do) and got stuff to make Tirimisu. So we went back to her place and made it. Its actually really easy and it turned out really well. Then we headed off to the party. It was a whole cong. thing at a bro and sis house.  It was really kinda boring...nothing going on. Not that there had to be but it was just boring at least they had background music lol Luckily we brought cards! So we played a game of 500. Played that pretty much the whole time...up until we left. Alyse left earlier so i went home with Rachel. By the time i got home it was like 8:45...the house was dead. All the lights off..alarm on. Its just funny how early they go to bed somtimes. I could hear that Adam was watching a movie on his laptop but still. So the night was young and i had nothing todo. So i decided to dye my hair. I have been wanting to, and had the dye but i had no one todo it. But then i figured i could just do it myself. So i did. For being the first time doing it myself i think it turned out really well. Its bright red..but that's what i wanted!! 

Then today...hot again...BOOYAH!!!

The girls were soo happy to see that i did my hair. They said, "Now you really are Ariel" lol 

They have been talking about e dying my hair for weeks. So they were super excited. 

We didn't do a whole lot today, just kinda hung out. Then the girls wanted to say Hi to my mom, so we skyped mom!! Then we went over to Kerry's and went into the pool. They have a salt water pool and i forget everytime..and its sooo gross. But we spent all afternoon there.

Came home..gave the girls dinner and shower. Then Adam came home and we had dinner..while he drills me with questions about babys and birth lol  

Then i got to skype with Hannah!!  And see poor sick baby Adian :( 

So this next week is gonna be exciting because the doctor says that if Pip doesn't go into laybor this week..he is going to enduce on Friday...so that means by next week we should have a baby!! Yay im sooo excited!!!

WOW.....this week flew by!!

Tuesday i woke up and felt horrible. I think Imogen had gotten a cold or something and thats why she was acting all crazy. So i must have gotten it too. I was just sooo out of it. My throat hurt and my head just felt pressure and heavy. So i just layed on the couch all morning!!  Then we went to playgroup and that was good..the usual. Then i came home and had lunch and then Madeline had a Doc appt for her hip so Adam came home and took everyone to the doctor..so i pretty much had the afternoon off. That was nice! I was feeling a bit better and so when they got home it was soo hot that we all got in the pool.  Then that night we watched Father of the Bride 2. Its so funny how many of the same movies they like, that i do too!!

Wednesday i still felt blahh. But it was the crazy rush in the morining, just like every other Wednesday. There was some things that i had wanted to get at the store, so i was planning on heading up to the towers after i dropped the girls off. But i just couldnt. So i went home and just layed around and was on teh computer pretty much all day. I am getting all my travel plans worked out! I am SOOOO excited. Here is a breif summary:

• Dec 22-Jan 5 - Foster (where Paris lives) With Aylce and Rachel, Just gonna hang out on the beach for a few weeks.
• Feb 8-14 - Gold Coast (Hit up all the Theme Parks) Going with 9 others, the usual crew
• End of Feb - Melbourne  Probably just for the weekend
• March - Hannah comes!!  Go up to Cairns and do the whole Great Barrier Reef thing. Then road trip down to Brisbane!

• End of March/April - Go on a Kiwi Wanderer (New Zealand) for 2 weeks!! :)

 Thats all i have figured out so far!!

Its alot of traveling and for about 3 months strait but i figure when am i gonna have the money and the chance to be down here and do all of this again soo might at well see as much as i can.
I really need to book some of the stuff because thats coming up way faster then i realize.

Then in April, Madeline is going to be having hip surgery so they might need my help right after. So thar would work out good because then i would get a little bit more moolah!! :)

Anyway...when i went to go get the girls it was raining and horrible like usual. (Its always like that when i have to walk the farthest) When we got home i just wanted to sleep. I txt'd Elise to tell her that i wasnt gonna go to meeting. Its really annoying always gettting picked up because if i am gonna miss a meeting i have to explain myself. Anyway i passed out around 8 and then a few hours later i realized i even fell asleep with my light on...so i turned it off and went back to bed....even without brushing my teeth...which us a big deal for me lol
Its funny i think it was the first time i have ever slept through when the meeting was lol usually i just watch tv or somthing lol
Anyway when i woke up i felt 100% better and after popping like 5 vitamin C i was as good as new!!
So we headed out and went to dance!  The girls are soo cute at dance..they are working on Tap dancing and Ballet. After that we went up to the Towers because we had to get Imogen a new cup because i broke her "special" cup that morning lol  So as we were leaving the mall and standing at the Cross walk this crazy little Asain lady came up and was all saying "She take him...that woman take him"  I looked around and everyone was kinda looking at her but she was staring intently on me like she was talking directly to me. So i was like "What did she take?" I could barely understand her, her accent was soo thick. Then she said, "My husband.....that woman take my husband.....we marry 10 year...have kid like this...and she take him" I didnt know what todo so i was like, "Thats not good"  But the then she just kept talking, "Ya she a bad lady...she take him" By this time we had crossed the street and kept getting closer and closer to the lady she was talking about. So this lady heard her say "She take him" and she turned around and saw the little Asian lady and then bolted...just started running and dashed into the car garage. So the little Asian lady looked at me and said, "Im gonna get her" and started running after her. I just started laughing it was sooo random. When i walked by the car garage entrance i could see them running after eachother zig zag through all the cars. It was sooo funny!! By this time it had started raining so we stopped into Maccas and i got the girls an Ice Cream and let them play forever. I was waiting for the rain to let up. It had stopped raining but it was supper foggy so there was just the wetness everywhere. Oh well i had to walk in it. All week and all the way home Madeline always sings the Do Re Me song and it is sooo cute so i had to record her doing it.

Friday...cleaning day...blah!!
I did it super fast....as fast as the girls would let me anyway and then went into the pool all afternoon. Got a little sun!! :) Pip had gotten us new floatys soo i had to blow those up and it gave us another couple hours of things todo in the pool. I was Island Lyndsey  and they both had to be on top of me. Imogen liked jumping off me and tipping over and having fun but then Madeline would freak out if the raft tilted at all soo there was alot of screaming and crying lol but it was fun!!
That night nothing was really going on sooo i walked to 7-11 and got a slurpee!
When i got back Alex was there soo we just hung out and watched tv.
Saturday i hadnt heard from anyone soo i slept in until 10:30ish it was awesome. Then i skyped with Meggan and Mom and Dad and soo by the time i got out of bed its was one-ish.
It was super hot soo i went into the pool with everyone.
Adam kept beaming me in the side of the head with those water bomb ball things and he thought it was soo funny that every time he got my face..even when i dodged it.
Anyway then i got ready and Rachel came and picked me up and we were going to Etienne's for dinner.
When we got there...the usual crew was there and some people were cooking and we were all just hanging out. After dinner some of us watched a movie and some played cards. It was fun!
Sunday just hung out...went to meeting. Then after meeting I went to the movies..Gold Class!
Gold Class is like the posh theater. Tickets are $39 bucks and you have a separate entrance and there is a full bar and lounge. When you get into the theater...some one personally brings you to your seat and there is only like 40 seats because they are huge recliners.  And people brink you your drinks and popcorn in a glass bowl when the movie starts. It was really awesome!!
Monday was just another Monday.
Went over to Kerry's..... it wasnt hot enough to swim so the kids just ran around all crazy.
So next week have some things planned so it should be exciting. And baby anyday!! :)

Im back in buisness!!

As you can obviously tell i got the Internet back!!

YAY!!

It just took another hour long phone call with the dumb people and everything is perfect!

Anyway enough about that...

This week was the CO visit so we had meeting on Tuesday night.  I ended up being a householder and didnt get my notes until right before the meeting. It was all good though...except i had to say "Propitiatory" I cant say big words like that. So when we were doing the talk i was like..."Pro...pit..story" and then laughed cause there was no way i was gonna get it lol

But after the meeting every said i was a natural and that messing up made it sound real because no one knows how to say it right lol and that they just love listening to my accent...so that was nice.

The CO is youngish  and is from Hungry soo i could barely understand what he was saying. Him and his wife went to Gilead and used to be missionaries. They are also on one of the videos. lol

Anyway during his talk he made a point that i thought was really cool about Sydney. He was talking about different cultures and kinds of people and it was funny he said that everyone that gave a talk that night had a different accent, there was Dutch, Swiss, British, Korean,  American, and him from Hungry. But that wasnt the point, it was that Sydney is one of  the most Multi cultural city in the world and that there is over 200+ languages spoken just in Sydney. I think thats pretty cool.

Anyway Wednesday the girls went to school so Alyce was gonna pick me up from there and go in service. That was the plan anyway.  So she went to the service group and then came around 9:30 to get me. When she picked me up she said that she needed to go to the Towers to drop her bracelet off to get fixed soo we went there and figured out her whole bracelet thing...then we were off to the territory. 

This week was her parents 25 anniversary so her and her sisters bought them a new fridge...so they were gonna be delivering it today but she thought she told them in the afternoon...but as soon as we pull into territory and find some sisters they call and said they were gonna be at the house in 15 min. So we get back into the car and go to her house. I which was nice because it was like a million degrees out. Anyway when we go there her parents were still home so we were trying to make them leave but they werent ready or something so we told them they just had to hide in their rooms lol Anway the guys were talking forever so we had a coffee and some toast and were just hanging out. Finally they get here and deliver the fridge and put it in its spot and its ready togo. It looks so pretty compared to their old 25year old fridge that had only one shelve and no lights lol 

So its all in place and the guys leave so we go and get her mom....and she has no clue what it could be....when she saw it she was in shock! It was soo great!! I was soo excited for her..i was all clapping and jumping around and she was just soo happy she was all trying to hug the girls but they were all "Dont touch me its too hot"  so then she all came to me and was like "you'll hug me wont you?" lol  It was so funny. But later both Alyce and her mom said that they were glad i was there because i made it more exciting lol which made me feel good. After that we went and got Slurpee's!! They have the best raspberry flavor one and its soooooo good!! Then we called Rachel and see what people were doing about witnessing, but everyone was kinda stopping so Alyce and me ended going to the movies!  We went and saw Midnight in Paris.....stupidest movie i have seen in a long long time. There was just no point to it. Anyway after that is was perfect timing to go get the girls.  It was still sooo stinkin hot...i was sweating everywhere it was soo gross. I called mom on my way home and i was about half way home..after about 10 min i had beads on sweat just dripping down my elbow...where i was holding up the phone. By the time i got home, i couldnt take my clothes of fast enough. I was like "POOL POOL....go get your cozzie!!!" So then we played in the pool awhile. That night we watched Vegas Vacation....I ♥ that movie. 

Thursday it had dropped like 15 degrees and was kinda damp and cool. It was all raining hard in the morning. By the time we left for dance it was just drizzling but super humid. So while the girls went to dance i went over to the Towers and bought myself a bracelet...kinda splurged but whatev i had the moolah. So after dance we went back over to the Towers and they had a coloring competition for the kids sooo the girls colored and just kinda ran around. Then we went up to the one Cafe place that we usually eat our lunch at and had lunch and then went to Target where i finally found some shoes that fit me!! Yay!! They are just black wedges but thats ok they go with everything but its nice having more of a choice for shoes. That afternoon was when we got the Internet back up working so i think i spent that evening catching up on stuff.  

Friday..cleaning day...Pip left and went todo some shopping. Which was nice because then i didnt feel as pressured as i clean because she is such a neat freak lol So after i cleaned we went into the pool. Its so funny how much the girls think i am really a mermaid. They tell me todo all these tricks and are like "Oh i think i saw your tail" lol They love taking all these crazy pictures of me while im swimming and a few of them look kinda cool.

 That night was the second meeting for the C.O.  so i went to meeting.  Alyce left town for a few days but she told be that a few people were going out after meeting and to horn in on it soo i did. Rachel and Rachel were going out to El Churros for dessert and meeting up with some people. Its weird they keep calling churros doughnuts. They are just soo far from the mexican culture that poeple dont know obvious, to me things. It was sorda a good job night because Rachel (Alyce sister) finished her last exam for high school. Now shes done done. But they dont really do any party or ceremony thing here, so that was it shes done!! lol Were doing a little surprise thing in a few weeks but still its not half as a big deal as we make it lol

Saturday went out in service, nice big group out. The week before the Kunzler's a fam in the cong. invited me to come over on Sat to have lunch with the C.O. and them. His wife is a cancer survivor so she like cant eat anything. So we had a vegetable curry sorda thing and  Larissa, her brother and me totally picked through everything and just ate rice lol it was funny. After they left the mom was like "Ok..no more all vegetable meals until next year!"

After that i went home and Skyped with Meggan.

Then the Rachel's came and picked me up and we went over to the Yew's and watched some movies. It was so funny we watched UP..and Tong one of the guys looks exactly like the little boy. So we were cracking up the whole time. He had never seen it soo he didnt know wheat we were talking about. But he totally gets it now!

Its was alot of fun...we watched a couple other movies too. Then we made plans to go to the Beach the next day! :)

Sunday is my sleep in day and i love it!

The girls have swimming lessons in the morning so they are out of the house and its nice and quiet...so i can sleep inn!

Sunday morning always seem the longest because i dont do anything and im kinda waiting around just to go to the meeting. But this morning i skyped with Mom and Dad. It was fun! I like making retard faces to mom! lol And she finally got a new camera so i can actually see her better too. After that i went to meeting and brought my clothes and bathing suit and everything cause we were gonna go straight from the Hall. During the meeting it got all overcast and windy out (why windows in kingdom halls are distracting) and i was sad because i wanted to go swimming. But there was a thing going on called Sculptures by the Sea. So we would just go look at those. So right after meeting we headed to the Famous Bondi Beach

Its about 45min to an hour drive from where we live but its like 5min from the city center..its the big hangout spot.

So we met up with some people the girls knew and we were waiting for the boys to get there so we went to go look at the different sculptures. I thought they were gonna be out of sand..but they weren't! They were just tond and tons of random things that had "Picture opportunities" written all over it!

It said DO NOT TOUCH...so i straddled it...i wasnt touching it though!

There were about 10 of these guys in a circle..it looked so funny!

Anyway so we were walking around all these things and we met up with the boys and of course no one wanted to be in the pictures with me lol whatev

Then we kept walking and i swear we couldn't walk more then 5 feet without running into poeple someone knew. They were saying it was like an Assembly just more and more and more people kept showing up. We didn't all stay together but there was alot of witness's there..thats all i can say.  It was soo funny when they were taking pictures of me with all the statues they were all laughing because they thought it was weird and then there was a guy a ways away posing with them too and i was all, "look see im not the only one"  So then we get over there and its people they knew. I knew one girl from our cong and it was her room mates and stuff like that. But she came up to me and was all like "Theres guys here from the states"  Then she pointed them out and i started laughing because one of them was the guy posing with the statues. I was like it must be an American thing lol

They were really rude actually..they were from New York so it wasn't a surprise. They were there with like 5 or 6 girls so they thought they were all cool being the Americans

I must of blown their cover or something lol who knows

Then we went back to the beach and got some dinner. Then we got some Ice Cream!! Then we just walked around, everyone kept bumping into more poeple they knew. I really feel like im starting to fit in good with our little group. I think they know my kinda joking and that i can take a joke and dish it right back. And that im loud..they understand that which is good! :) 

Later we went to walk on the beach..beach and got all wet. It wasnt to cold and me and Rachel were gonna jump in but we were driving Alyce's car and she would kill us if we got sand in her car or got it all wet lol
By that time it wa like 11:30 so we headed home.

It was definitely a good weekend...its what i needed after feeling a big homesick!

Then  monday morning comes and Imogen the beast child is back!!

Screamed all day pretty much..or at least thats what it felt like.

But the day ended good because i got to Skype for an hour and half with and Hannah.

We are getting all our plans ready for when she comes down!!

Spring showers....

I still don’t have freaking INTERNET!!!

I am sooo upset.

Some people might think im being obsessive about it but when everyone you want to talk to is on the other side of the world you kinda need it!! Lets just say when we get it back….I am gonna have a couple days of very long skype seeshes. The issue is that we need a new router so the lady said she was gonna send it to us but she sent it to Adams work..well his old work sooo we never got it so then they are gonna need to send another one which will take 2 to 5 business days and then we have to see if that is even the problemo…ughhh.

Anyway about my week… Tuesday was another Tuesday..play group and then just hanging around the

house. Its actually quite nice with Pip around because 1) I have someone other then the girls to talk to 2) She makes me lunch 3) She usually end up making dinner 4) We sit around and watch discovery health shows or weird Human sciences all day lol

Imogen was being so naughty before playgroup and she was just screaming and I was yelling at her and I was thinking “Pips gonna be wondering what I did to her kid?’ So later when she came down I was like “Did you hear me yelling at Imogen?” Then I sorda explained what happened and shes like , “They are such brats” lol so at least she doesn’t care if I still punish them lol

Wednesday took the girls to school and then went to the Towers…did my usual walk around bought some shorts. Then got a sluurrpee and walked back home. On my way Mary-Ann from playgroup saw me and gave me a ride how which was awesome because it was HOT. I layed out in the sun for awhile and then wen to go ge the girls. When we got back it was soo warm we all just jumped into the pool!! Its sooo nice!! Im soo glad we have one and it hasn’t even gotten THAT hot yet.

Then I went to meeting and I had to do a demo for the Nov. Mags..I choose the one on creation ;) lol

It went good!! It was funny on the way home Elise was driving and she swerved or something and Shaun got all scared and was like, “What the hell?” and then a few min later he was like “Oh that’s a bad word for you isn’t it? Sorry HAHAHAHA” He has the most crazy laugh its soo funny! Its great!!

Thursday I woke up to RAIN L its definitely spring weather but I want summer…NOW!!

So the girls had dance…so I had to walk a half hour in the rain, pushing the stupid pram. It wasnt raining that hard but still.

So after dance we usually go to Maccas for lunch or have a picnic, but since it was still raining we decided to go to the towers, so I could get a coffee! When we got there, there was some story time going on so the girls went to that and they had coloring and balloons and sooo that took up a lot of time. After that we went and had lunch and went to Target and got some new shoes for Imogen and some cookie cutters we had been looking for and looked at toys for like ½ and hour. Just stalling so hopefully the rain would pass.

It didn’t pass…had to wak all the way back home in the rain..ugh not my ideal day in Australia.

Friday..cleaning day!! Its actually not that bad because now that someone else is home I just put on my headphones and cram through it. I don’t get stopped every 5 min for juice or a lolly!! So we did that and then it was super hot so we were in the pool the rest of the day! Adam got home from work and cooked us dinner and then we watch a movie and that was my exciting Friday night lol

Saturday I went in service..all day! It was soooo hot! I worked with Larissa (little 8yr old that loves me) soo that made it fun and we went really really slow lol By the time we were done it was like 4:30 and I had nothing todo. This is when I start getting home sick, when Im out all day listening to everyone’s plans and then don’t get invited to any of them and I sit alone on a Saturday night. If I was back home no way in the world would I be sitting at home, or if I was I would be with friends. But then Kerry txt me and said she was going to the place up the road for drinks so I went! When we got there we actually ran into some people we knew so we stayed and talk with them for awhile. One of the girls was a nanny also and she was super sweet and gave me a lot of good tips for little jobs for in between my travels. By the time I was headed home It was around 12:30 and so I went and got a Slurpee and walked home! J

Sunday I totally got to sleep inn…I don’t know where Adam took the girls but it was sooo quiet! I think I slept in until 10 …..it was awesome. Then I called Meggy and got to talk to her for like a hour or so, so I just stayed in bed lol I finally had to get up and get ready for the meeting. By this time the girls were back and they HAD to pick out my outfit and my shoes and my jewelry. They are soo obsessed with doing things for me lol they fight over who gets to pick my undies lol
Went to meeting..it was good and then after a bunch of us girls all went to Maxx Brenner for a drink. Maxx Brenner is a Chocolate Bar and it has all kinds of chocolate drinks and desserts and it is soooooo good!! So There was about 9 of us from the hall that went. It was fun to chat. After that I went home to change and then we went over to the Yew’s (Alyce) for dinner. We got there a little early so we hung out and help make dinner. It was all of Alyce’s family, Racheal, John ( Bro from our hall) Matt ( Bro from another hall, Lives with Ryan and Tong and I think him and Alyce have a thing going on) and Me. So we had dinner and then watched a movie!! Its fun watching a movie at their house because they have their big theater room with a huge projector and huge fluffy couches and bean bags and mattress on the floor and tons on blankeys..its really compfy!! By then it was late so we went home. Monday was a Monday…let the screaming begin lol We had plans to meet up with some of the girls friends at the park for a playdate and we did, but we didn’t stay for very long because it was to darn hot!! So we came home and had lunch and then their friends came over to swim. They have an Aupair also, shes is from Switzerland. Shes super sweet, we get along really

good! So they stayed most the afternoon which was good cause we had nothing else todo. Then right as the girls were sitting down to dinner these clouds rolled in and it started dumping rain..when it dumps it dumps buckets of rain its sooo cool!! So I let the girls get all soaked and splash in the puddles.

I told them to pose and these are what they did lol I don’t know if Pip really appreciated it because everything was soaking wet but the girls had a lot of fun! Then that night we all just watched a few Britsh shows and they went to bed. Adam let me use his new “IPHONE 4 S” that he has no clue how to use and always ask me questions about it lol to check my email and fb or whatev. So I did but its not the same…cant quite see everything and some of the attchments on emails didn’t work. But hopefully..I HOPE..by Thursday..Friday at the lastest I will have internet back!!

Everyone has been nagging about me uploading more and more pictures and its hard because 1) no one takes pictures 2) its never the right setting or were not doing anything exciting 3) its different living down here then just vacationing down here. If i was on a trip i would take pictures of everything and it would be awesome stuff because i would be go go going! But here its just everyday life. The next few months should be pretty exciting soo you'll probably get alot more picture lol

Well this week is the CO visit! Should be fun! J

Karaoke!!

So we have no internet!!

And we haven’t for over a week now and its really really REALLY annoying!!

I was on the phone with the lady for over an hour and still no internet.

I guess I didn’t realize how much I was really on it. Just to keep up what going on in everyone’s lives or just to talk to everyone back home. But it should be getting fixed soon I hope. By the time I post this I will have obviously have gotten it back but still its been annoying all week.

Tuesday is our Playgroup day and we meet at the park/playgroup clubhouse that’s like a 2 min walk from our house. But this week we had like a fieldtrip. We were going to the dentist! So the plan was meet up at Maxx Brenner (the yummiest chocolate bar) get a milkshake or whatever and then all go to the dentist that was right down the street. So that was fun, besides 12 kids hyped up on chocolate in a little place lol I am just so glad that my girls are older, and actually listen to me. Some of the moms have the most horrible kids that were running everywhere. So then we went to the dentist and all the kids got there teeth counted and looked at all the stuff. Then on our way home it started to rain L so we hung out in the Towers for a bit and went to the pet store, and saw the puppies and then we went to the toy store and looked and played with all the toys. Just found random stuff todo to waste time. Then when we finally got home it was around 3ish and Kerry and the boys came over. Just to hang out and play with the girls.

Then that night I had to baby-sit the girls while Adam and Pip went to some dinner.

But it worked out good both girls have been in really good moods and everyone has been really happy and so bedtime was super easy. When Adam and Pip came home they were all telling me about how they ran into Russel Crow at the restaurant they were at! I thought that was pretty cool, to bad it wasn’t me lol

Wednesday was school again and it was raining L dumb spring showers lol so last week the stroller wheel got popped soo we didn’t have that to bring the girls to school in, because we usually take it because they have so much stuff. So we had to leave extra early because they walk so slow and we had to carry everything and it was raining. After I dropped them off I walked up to Kerry’s because she lives super close to the school, and we were gonna have some coffee and cakes lol but its so funny she was telling me how obsessed her little boy Val is with me. She said the second he woke up he said, “is lyndsey coming over? I hope she is? I love lyndey! She smells sooo good! I just love hugging her” lol and she was saying he just kept going on and on and about me. I think its sooo cute! So I hung out there for awhile and then Kerry dropped me off at the Towers and I did some stuff there and then I headed home. Went to meeting..nothing to exciting going on there. Thursday was dance..and with out the stroller we had to leave like a hour before hand because the girls walk so slow and want to pick every single flower there is. So that pretty much took up the whole day. When Pip got home she was soo happy because it was her last day of work. She is gonna be home from then on.

Friday we all just kinda hung out. I was on the phone forever with the internet lady that was real exciting lol but then that early afternoon Adam came home. I was going with Adam and Kathryn and Alex to some dinner thing in the city with all their friends. Adam was calling it the “Nannies night out” So around 5ish we all headed into the city. We went to dinner and had some drinks…it was fun..hanging out with the boss lol and I didn’t have to pay for anything lol

Saturday nobody was going in service so I had no ride. So I slept in lol

That night a good size group of us were going into the city for dinner. Paris was in town so I was super excited. We went to some weird Spanish place and the food was weird..totally not the Spanish I was expecting. It was good though. It was a small place so our group had to spilt up into 2 groups and of course it was like everyone from out side of the city and then another group of people from their side lol but it was fun I don’t get to hang out with everyone that much so it was good. After that we walked down to Darling Harbour and got ice cream and watched all the weirdo people that were dressed up for haloween parties. Barely anyone does anything for Haloween..maybe one in five people even talk about it. So everyone was looking at the weirdos dressed up weird lol

But it was a really fun night and I met some really nice new people. Yay!

Sunday our meeting was changed so we had to meet up with another hall, but instead all us girls went to a different hall then they told us too hehehe

But we went where most of everyone we hang out with goes too. So it was a morning meeting and then we all went out to lunch and then went witnessing. That hall the the best “young” support for witnessing I have ever seen. There was about 25 of us out and about 15 of us were in our twenties. It was a lot of fun…but it got very hot lol The boys live right in the neighborhood we were working soo everyone went over there. Half the people went to go play cricket. And half of us stayed in the AC house lol me and Pasir just sat around for a few hours watching dumb you tube videos..that was funny. Then we ended up playing the Karaoke game on Xbox. I think everyone was a bit shocked how “wonderfully loud” I sang lol Everyone was laughing sooo hard at me lol I don’t know why..I think it was the microphone….it made everyone sound a little different lol we did that for quite a while, by then everyone was back the we were gonna have a BBQ. After that we all kinda hung out…a few people played cards. We were all just hanging out talking.

Me and Paris did a slot of dancing it seemed lol I love her!! She is my little slice of home! Hse has been to the states a few times and actually used to date a Bro from the states so she knows some what where im coming from on some things. But mostly we just get along really well..im sooo glad she is moving here soon!! J Then Monday came and Imogen was beast. I really don’t know what came over her.

Val came over for about an hour and played with girls and we went to the park and they kept finding all these gross egg shells and weird dead things…and Val being a boy has to keep them all and think they are soooo cool. Lol Then later in the day we went over to Kerry’s like usually and kids just ran around all crazy and ended up jumping in the pool. By the time we walked back home it was dinner time. Then Adam, Pip and I watched a movie and that was that!!

Visitors from the U.S.

I have no clue what i did Tuesday of last week?? hmmm i know i skyped with mom, thats about all i remember...weird.  Anyway its been a good week.

Wednesday the girls were at school so i went shopping..like usual..found some really cute sun dresses. Which is good because its starting to get really warm.

That night when we were getting to the meeting there was these two black sisters walking into the hall and Elise turned to me and said, "They look American"  which they totaly did lol and there is barely any black people around so it was kinda a big deal. 

When we got into the Kingdom Hall we went over to meet them...and sure enough they were American. From Alanta, Georgia and some place in Flordia.  So i was talking to them and they were suprised that i was American and then evreyone in the entire hall came up to me first and said, "Oh you have people visiting you, who are your friends?" Just because i am from the US and they are fromthe US does not mean we know each other lol But EVRYONE thought that they were here with me. So finally i went to talk to someone else and get away fromk them. But then they were like, "Who are the Visitors?" and i said oh some sisters fromthe US. They would ask if i knew them...i was like, "NO..we pretty much live on completely the oppsite parts of the US" lol it was sooo annoying.

Thursday we went to dance like usual and on the way home the stroller got a flat tire...soo the girls whined and complained the whole way home because i made them walk. But now i dont have to take it becuase i can say its broken...and they were getting way to heavy to push all the time lol

That night Rachel, Sarah and me were gonna go to the Noodle Markets....its a food festival downtown.

I have never seen sooo many people crammed into a park like that and almost 90% of them Asians lol

I seriously was like a foot taller then almost everyone.

So it was just lots and lots of different booths of Thai, Malaysian, Chineese, Japonease, Korean foods.

We all got somthing differnt and shared. There actually wasnt a whole lot of noodles though. Weird.

I told the girls that im gonna start taking more pictures and i whipped out my camera and said, "NOW..i thought you ment in the furture." I dont get what the bif deal is with taking pictures???? It baffles me lol

So she was all trying to get out of being in the picture but i told her she had tobe and asked a random lady to take our picture and then they got all weirded out that i asked someone. Then they said, "Well its ok for you to ask someone because your foreign." lol i dont get it...i ask everyone to take my picture in the US and Australia...not a big deal.

But that was fun, somthing todo on a weeknight.

Friday was hot..and i wanted to jump in the pool sooo bad, but it was all dirty and had big gross speiders floating in it lol   So as soon as Adam got home i was all.."Sooo when ar eyou gonna get the pool ready??" He was all annoyed but jokingly said, fine ill go work on it right now. 

So then i left and went and babysat for Natalie.....just for about 2 hours. When i got home Adam said, "The pool will be ready for you this weekend your majasty! 

hahaha it was just funny the way the whole thing played out.....i think its one of those had to be there moments but whatev.

Saturday i went in service until two! I worked with Rachel and it was fun lots and lots of hills and it was a hot humid day soo that wasnt to fun. After that i went up to the Towers to see if i can find a tank top...i havent been able to find a store that just has plain tank

tops...its such a simple thing but i have been looking for weeks...its getting annoying lol

I didnt find any but i did get some shorts! I cant go there and not get somthing lol

On my way home i was walking and there is always litter everywhere and i saw a glimpse of red that caught my eye..and i looked at it and thought is that money but i was like NOOO money isnt red but my sub conscince knew it was. lol so i picked it up anyway and it was a $20 dolla bill y'all lol

I was sooo excited. I had a totally American moment lol

That night I just stayed in and we watched Devil Wears Prada…apparently its one of Admas favorites lol

Sunday is my sleep inn day and sleeping inn is usually like 9am lol So I just kinda hung around the house I got to skype with Bry and Mom and Dad and Staci.

Im super excited because Bry said that one of her friends is coming down to Austalia and she will be in Sydney most of Dec. Sooo I am most definatly gonna hang out with her!!

Then I went to meeting. We had a local brother that gave the talk. Hes british and is always pretty funny. But his talk Sunday had the whole hall just cracking up for almost the whole half hour, it was Awesome!!

Then I came home and went to the shops with everyone and then we went to Maccas. (McDonalds) the girls were sooo excited that I was coming with them lol

Monday was HOT!!! And by 11am we were all in the pool!! I am sooo gonna get used to doing that everyday. It was a really good day! J

The internet it sooo gay hasn’t worked all week.
