Penguins!!

Its been soo nice and warm and everyone has been complaing, but this is what I have been waiting for..this is summer! What comes with summer is finding stuff todo. Thank goodness we have a pool. All day today we were in the pool again. Then we went over to the park for awhile. But with all their activities cancelled for summer I have to come up with fun crafts and just day after the girls are getting bored and I am trying to come up with stuff todo. Its tiring, plus I don’t have all the stuff I need todo some stuff I wanna do. That’s when I wish I had a car and could run down to the store and get it. Anyway we found stuff to get us through the day. Then that night I went for a run! I am gonna get fit! Lol So the next day I saw that they had face painting and balloon animals and Happy Feet 2 Penguin meet and greet. So I thought that would be fun.

 Pip gave us free tickets to the movies, so we could see Happy Feet 2 after we meet the penguins. So when we got there, we still had a few min and the face paining people were gone?? Whatev! We got our tickets and popcorn and then the penguins came out…they were soo excited..a bit scared but more excited. So we got to say Hi and hug and get pictures with all of them. Once again I kinda horned in there and was first in line lol After the movie we headed home…taking about an hour to get there. We have to stop for every flower…every park along the way..stop all the time lol That night went to meeting and that was that.

Thursday, Tommy and Lilly and Pat their mom came over (our neighbors) and played for awhile. I was on baby duty and they were on kid duty! So I didn’t really have todo anything lol They were here for awhile and then we just kinda hung out the rest of the day I think. We might have gona over to Kathryns for a bit. That night I was on skype and a few guys from back home wanted to skype..so we did but it was them playing there video games into the wee hours of the night and skyping with me soo it was pretty funny! It was fun! Friday, Pip was cleaning so we tried to get out of the house. So first e went over to Kathryns and they all played in the Cubby house and got into the pool. We came home for lunch. Then we went over to Lilly’s to go swimming and play. We were there til dinner…so we did find stuff todo I guess just at other peoples houses. Tonight nothing was going on…like I said Fri nights im out of the loop. So we just watched a movie.

Saturday I had plans for Alyce to pick me up for service. So as I was getting ready I was skyping mom and she was putting together a picture video thing and so she was trying trp find songs and so she made me dance to each song and I felt sooo dorky all dancing to mom over skype…it was soo funny! It started down poaring with rain and Alyce txt me about 5 min before she was supposed to her here and she said, “Hey just woke up..ya right im going out in this!” So I was like errr annoying. But then she said, that she was gonna try and meet up with the group later and that Pamps was gonna come and get me. So a few min later Pamps is here and we go to the group and the rain gets even worse. So Pamps says that we are gonna meet up with Alyce and that we will just do calls. So we go do a call and then she said that we are gonna go to the Yew’s and do phone witnessing. When we get there, they are puppy sitting for their friends baby weiner dog! O…M…G!! The cutest thing I have seen in a long time, I was soo excited. I picked her up and she just started freaking out licking my face and just all over the place. Everyone thought it was soo funny. They are totally not animal people. Sandra said that she never saw her get that excited! It was just sooo cute! Soo I just sat there and played with it and we had coffee and Tim Tams. We did quite a bit phone witnessing…which they arnt calling anyone right now they are just trying to find all the people in the territory in the phone book soo it was really easy! Lol it was a fun morning! I had nothing todo all day soo I was gonna go out in the afternoon with them too. Sandra fed us lunch and then we went to Sean and Elise’s for the afternoon group. It was just them and Alyce and Pamps and Me. So we all just went together. We just did calls as it was still on and off drizzling. We ended about 4:30ish. We were all planning on going to a outside movie by the river tonight but because of the rain it was cancelled. L So I was thinking I would have another boring weekend by myself but Pamps said that she will find out what the boys are doing, and if they arnt doing anything then we will just watch movies at her house, and I could spend the night. Because we were planning on going to the city tomorrow! So when I got home, I got a skype call…it was Meggan AND Staci…this 3 way calling is pretty awesome. Soooo we talked for awhile and then Pamps txt me that we were going to the boys for dinner. So we headed over there and they had quite a few people over. So we were all haning out some girls from Korea came that were visiting their hall and they were showing us all this weird K-Pop music from over there and then I showed them the Dance Central and they loved it sooo we were playing that all night. They really really clung to me which was weird since I couldn't understand anything they were saying lol But they had a lot of fun and so did I because usually I am the only one playing that game lol So we were there for awhile and then we went home..I stayed the night at Rachels because we had plans in the morning to go into the city and do the Markets at The Rocks. So we got up and headed out around 9ish and by the time we got there it was cleared up and perfect weather! So we walked around and did all the vendors. There was so so many of them and there was extra ones then normal because of it being in the summer. I got a few souvenirs and she got a few little things. We stopped at a little café half way through to get some lunch. But ya it was a lot of fun! After we were done with all that we were about to head back to go to meeting. But I guess we both had a moment of weakness because a group of people were headed to Manly Beach to play volleyball. Since we both had studied and knew the Watchtower was for brothers we thought it would be ok to skip out just this once I know bad bad girls…shes the pioneer lol Anyway so we headed to Manly and went down to the beach where the courts are. We didn’t see anyone yet but everyone is notorious for being late. So we were kinda hanging around…then the Korean girls come running up..”Oh Lyndsey Lyndsey.Hi HI we didn’t know where anyone was” lol it was soo funny! So byt his point there was about 6 of us there and we thought might as well start playing. But none of us had a ball and all the courts were taken…poop! But down at the very end was 2 girls that were like 13..14 maybe and were just hitting the ball back and forth. So I went up to them and asked if we could play with them until our friends got here. They said it was fine. So we sorda started playing it was like 3 on 3 but just practice hitting the ball back and forth.After a little while a few more people came and joined in and then more came and then more. So these poor little girls now are playing like a 10 on 10 match with like a ton of people sitting there watching. Eventually one of the girls looks at me and is like, “We have to go…sorry” lol I told them it wasn’t a big deal and thanks. So they left and everyone was soo confused they were all like, “That wasn’t our ball? Who was that?” Haha So then I was like ok who bought a ball to all the other people that showed up and ………nobody did!! Smooth move everyone, you kinda need a ball to play volleyball. So they sent me out to go get another ball because they figured if I asked it wouldn’t be weird because I am the foreign one. Soo I go strolling down the beach and see this guy just sitting there with a ball next to him so I go on to tell him how we don’t have a ball but we really wanna play and how all my friends are dumb because no one brought a ball. So he let me borrow it!! WOO HOO so I go walking back to the group…mission complete!! Everyone was shocked that I got another ball and they thought it was soo funny. I just wanted to play. So we kept on playing for another hour or so and then he comes walking over…”Uhhh sorry but I gotta go” lol soo he takes the ball and then yet again we are stuff without a ball…and everyone wants to keep playing. So they send me out once again to try and find a ball. So I go walking down all the courts looking for people not using their balls and finally the very last one…completl opposite side of us there there is a bunch of middle aged guys and 2 balls. They were just about to start a game so I told them our whole sob story and they were more then happy to let me use their ball..they just said bring it back! YAY…and it was even pink with flowers…so cute!! So I go back once again with yet another ball…everyone was very impressed at my skills. So we kept on playing. We played for quite a awhile but I kept my eye on the guys to make sure they were still there because I would feel bad for them to have to come looking for us…since we were quite a bit apart. So finally everyone was getting hungry and done after some 3+ hours of playing volleyball. So I go and take the ball back and when I do, they guys say “ Wow..I didn’t think you were gonna bring that back” I thought that was weird. But I had the urge to be like well I am one of Jehovahs witnesses but I didn’t want to push it lol So after I got back we were gonna go get some dinner.We were gonna get some Indian wich I don’t like and it was an hour long wait plus a tiny tiny restaurant and there is tons of us. So we decided to go to this chicken place lol It was yummy. So during dinner Jacob was talking on and on and on about how he wanted some ice cream and how when hes done hes gonna get and ice cream from Coppenhaggen, because they have free Carmel and chocolate and going on and on about it. Everyone was getting annoyed casue they were just trying to eat their dinner but I thought it sounded so good I was all up for it. Mo…he came from out of nowhere and was like I have a coupon for there…its buy one get one free. I was joking but I was like “do I get your free one huh? huh?? huh???” He kinda just looked at me funny but he let me have it!! So just us three went and got our ice creams. The carmel they have for you to put one…is sooooooo good. I have had it before but still its sooo good. I put quite a bit on mine. But Jacob kinda went out of control on the carmel.

So after we got our ice cream everyone didn’t know what todo, I had heard that at sunset penguins come up and live under the warf so I wanted to see the penguins…so everyone listens to me and we all went to the beach and sat on the board walk waiting for the penguins and hanging out. So after we were there for about half an hour I saw some environmental people under the warf so I went over to ask what the deal was with the penguins. So I asked her and she said there was a nest of them with 2 chicks they are guarding because they found one of the parents dead. And I guess the chicks cant survive without both parents, so they were waiting for the other one so they could take them to safe place. So I was asking how many penguins are there? She said, “there used to be about 30 of them, but over the years most of them have died between dogs and boats.” I was thinking ok…”Well how many is there now?” She looked at me and was like, “Just the one were waiting for” OMG sooo I have all these people sitting here waiting for penguins to come up and there is one freaking penguin. You have got to be kidding me!!! So I had to go back and tell everyone that there is only one lil penguin. Lol Once I told everyone the little story..they all thought it was funny and how we were all dumb just waiting for the one little penguin. There wasn’t much else going on and on a Sunday nothing is happening soo we just headed home.

Monday came and it was bitter sweet. This was my official last week with the girls. And of course they are nothing but naughty. The whole summer break thing is really not good for the girls..they have been spending to much time together and they keep on fighting soo sooo bad! We didn’t really have anything going on today soo we just hung out all day!! After I was done…I skyped with mom, and with Hannah! We are still trying to get our trip all together, by the looks of its gonna be AMAZING!! When Adam got home he asked what I was doing next week and I said nothing soo he asked if I could stay on for another week soo Pip could paint! Paint?? Lol He started paining the halls before the baby was born and ever since then its been unfinished..its needs a couple more coats. He said with work he just wont have time to finish it soo might as well put Pip to work, while Im still here. It was fine with me…I wasn’t doing anything and I like extra moolah!! Lol After dinner I was still trying to be good and soo I went for a jog. When I got back Adam was saying how he never follows any reality shows and how he always feels out of the loop when people start talking about them soo he decided he was gonna start watching them. The show that was starting tonight was The Biggest Loser Australia. So this is our show now. This season is “Singles” addition. So its all these fat single people that are all sad they never found love! Lol we got a kick out of it. It looks like it will be a good season and you can already see the love connections starting lol

So really 2 more weeks to go!

Ok so we were still trying to get back in the swing of things with the girls. So since there was no playgroup Kerry was having some of the playgroup people over to her house just for something todo. So we headed over there, with our swimmers and all because it was already super hot. When we got there another mom from playgroup was there with her two little boys, but they are a bit younger so the girls don’t really play with them. Lol Her little boy Ashton just started walking and he is the cutest thing ever! The girls were soo excited to see Val and after playing awhile everyone was hot so we all got in the pool. Played around for quite awhile. Then we had a little picnic, just in their yard. Then more swimming. Ashton and Jonah were getting cranky and needed their nap so we headed home. Kerry said something about Val coming over later. Which would be fun for the girls cause they love him soo much! So we walked home and had a bit of a rest and some snacks then Val shows up! So we get into our pool. Play for quite awhile then they have to run and play inside and then they have to get in the pool and then play inside. Its constant in…out…in …out. I just ended up staying in the pool on the floaty..working on my tan and let them do whatev..they knew where I was if they needed something lol

By the time Kerry came to pick him up it was pretty much dinner time so cooked dinner and did the bath and that whole thing. Then I skyped with Hannah! I just love that my friends are night owls soo that I can skype with them at like 12:30/1 in the morning lol Anyway we talked about our trip and what were gonna do and yadda yadda and while we were talking she did it!!! She actually BOUGHT her ticket!!! YAY I was sooo happy!! Not that I didn’t think she would but jus the fact it was official and that she was coming down made me sooo happy..I put a countdown in my planner and my calender. 65 days from this point she would be in my arms!!! So so many people that I talk to from back home are like, “Cool Australia, I wanna go. I should come when your there” I tell them to go for it, but its usually just talk! But for someone to actually come down and see me I am soo stoked! Also I was saying that, it will be like my city..that I get to show her around and everything will be new to her. Like if I was to take someone to Seattle, even though I would sorda know my way around they would sorda know what to expect or heard stuff from other people. But here no one besides me knows about the little details and places togo soo it will be totally new for her. I hope that makes sense?? Anyway it made me VERY VERY HAPPY!!!!

Wednesday it was still super hot, and this summer break thing was really wearing on me because, Adam and Pip like the girls to get out of the house and do something at least everyday so with nothing going on, I had to keep trying to come up with things todo. But luckily, it was so hot we seriously were in the pool all day! Finally they got a bit tired out. So we went inside and made Whoppi Pies. They are like little cake hamburgers with frosting in the middle. They were weird but the girls loved them! Then back in the pool.

After dinner and everything, I got to skype with Meg!! I miss her!! It had seemed like forever since we talked. I ♥ skype. I don’t know how I would be able to handle living this far away without it!!

Thursday I finally found something todo. At the Towers shopping center they have little activities and stuff during the summer holidays and today was Sherk and Fiona meet and greet! The girls like the Sherk movies so I thought it was something fun todo and just get out of the house. So we walked up there and just in time too!! We got there and as we were walking Shrek was walking out. The girls were sooo scared of him. I mean he was acting like and Orge but still they wouldn’t go and see him super close or shake his hand lol Then a few min later Fiona came and they liked her. She was caring the babies..so they like that. When she got into the circle of people her and sherk were kissing and being all silly together. I tried to force the girls out of the pram to go see them but they wouldn’t soo I went around back and got really close to where the line for pictures was he he he. So when the pictures started I probably ended up cutting in front of like 30 people mahhahaha we only had to wait like 5 min. and when we got up to take the picture the girls were still scared of Shrek so I had to be in the picture with them. It turned out cute though!!!

After that we had lunch, and went into a few stores, and went and saw the pet store. After that we headed home. On the way home I called my airline to book my flight. Something I was stressing about doing. But I got it done. June 3^rd! The official date that I will be back in the states. It makes me happy, even though its still a good 4 months away just that I have a time line know makes everything soo much better and stuff to look forward too!! J By the time I was home it was roasting. So I got changed as fast as I could and just jumped in the pool. Its so nice to have a pool! We got out and herd Lilly (our new neighbors) playing and she yelled for us to come over. So we went over there and played for awhile. Her mom Pat, is one of the sweetest people ever. So its always nice to go over there for a chat. Eventually I had to get home because it was dinner time and Pip was going to the shops, so I had to watch baby! So I gave the girls there dinner and I ended up skyping with Rose and Bill and Rachel. It was so good, they got to see the baby and I got to see Rachel’s big belly! I am soo happy that I did she only has 2 more weeks left so I almost missed it but it was soo nice to see them and talk for a bit! I cant wait to see her little girl!! ♥

After Adam and Pip came home with the groceries and after we had dinner. I cant remember if I just talked to mom and dad or if we skyped! Either way I got to talk to them. Which was good I hadn’t in awhile it seemed!

Friday was another hot day and I wasn’t complaining! I love spending all day in the pool!! Which we totally did. Then after lunch we went over to tKathryns and swam in their pool!! Lol its was fun it gives the girls kids to play with and Kathryn is super nice to talk to!! Fridays seem to be a boring night for me..no one ever invites me out todo anything on Fridays..oh but they do stuff I hear about it the next day but oh well. So I just stay in and watch a movie with Adam and Pip.

I had txt’d Pamps (Rachel) to ask if she could pick me up for service, and she said she would so I was all set for Sat. That night at about 4am I get a txt from her saying that she is sick and that she wasn’t going out. Good thing it woke me up because then I saw it and turned my alarm off and went back to bed. So Saturday morning I slept in! I didn’t have anything really todo soo I spent all day looking up stuff for me and Hannahs road trip! Its really hard because there is soo many towns and I really have no clue whats in any of the towns. So its a lot of research! But what I found is gonna be awesome!! J After that I was just really bored so I walked up to the towers and I don’t even remember what I did there. Just roamed around I guess. But when I got back home, Adam and all 3 girls were over at Kathryns and Alex’s and Pip was upstairs sick. So after coming to the realization that I wasn’t going to be doing anything tonight, I headed over there. It was fun, Adam was happy because I took care of the baby..not that he asked me to but because I wanted to. But all the kids played and swam and played and then Adam made dinner for all of us. At some point at dinner we were talking about how dorky they were when they were younger or something and I said, “Ya I’d like to see that” and soo before ei knew it Alex was getting the old home movies out of him and Adam. It was sooo hilarious. Both Adam and Alex said it was painful to watch because they were just soo dumb and dorky lol But I got a kick out of it!

Sunday, I go tto sleep in again. Since this is the first time we had our normal meeting since the new year, and our meeting got changed to 4.….blahhhh!! So I had pretty much all day todo nothing. Luckily I told Britnie and Bry that I wanted to Skype so I had that set up! So they called me and it wasn’t just them it was a ton of people. Bry was having a little party thing at her house and soo I got to see lots of people from the Yakima area. It was fun skyping with that many people. We even got a picture with some of us!!

　

Laurie is soo good about pictures! Even though it might seem a bit dorky, in the long run it will be my favorite pictures just to show that I was included in some stuff even though I wasn’t there!!! After that I got a txt from Kathryn saying she was going to Ikea and wondering if I wanted to go. Like I said I had nothing todo so I went! So pretty much every Ikea is exactly the same. Not a big difference there. We kinda rushed through it because she had friends coming over for a bbq and she knew exactly what she wanted. But we had time to get coffee and a treat after. Its nice going with families or older people because they treat me like one of the kids or something and always buys my stuff heheh We got home just in time for me to change and get ready for meeting!

After meeting I thought I should work on my blog and try and catch up….but I have so much to say they are always super long and always take forever to write soo I didn’t really catch up a whole lot…still trying! But while I am doing that I do get distracted, with FB or even Skype. I ended up skyping Caitlyn, Rachel (from the states) cousin. They had just gotten into Whistler, Canada for a week long skii trip, right after they got back from Australia. So that was fun seeing her again!

Monday rolls around…and I rack my brain of stuff we can find todo today. But when I get up Pip tells me that she has a friend that’s coming over that has 2 little girls!! Yay!! Because when there is other kids around they just do there own thing and I don’t really have to be there constantly. Lol So her friend comes over to see the baby…looks at her..hold her for like 2 sec, Trinity starts crying and she hands her back to me right away…that was the extent of her seeing the baby! Lol So I leave the moms to talk and I just take the baby to my room…I am on baby duty! Me and Pip switch off..either your on Girls duty or Baby Duty! So I went into my room and ended up skyping with Amy! I hadn’t talked to her forever and she was happy to see the baby! Then after awhile I ended up skypign with Meggan too. Not for very long though I think Trinity woke up or something but its still good to see her face. So after they left I get a txt from Kathryn saying we can come over for a play if we want because they weren’t doing anything. So we went over there, up until dinner time. When we got home Pip had made the girls dinner. Which helped out heaps. Also Adam is doing this diet thing so he has these weird fish things for dinner soo I didn’t have to cook! YES!!!

After I was done for the day I got on the compute and Mom skyped me, but when I answered it was Mom AND Staci!! It was awesome. I couldn’t see mom something tweaked out there but they could see me and ya it was really cool I hadn’t seen Poo in forever. She was laughing at how much of a spaz I was!! So I talked to them for quite awhile..then even after that I skyped with Hannnah and I had to tell her about all the places I researched about our roadtrip and what exactly we wanted todo and what she wanted to see yadda yadda. It ends up that I am gonna do whatever and she will be happy!! AHHH I cant wait for her to be here!!! When we were done skyping I was determined to get into shape for our trip so I went for a Jog!

60 days til Hannah comes!!
