Friends!

So today is Tuesday and its pretty windy….non of the beaches look that nice. So we kinda just puts around town. Pairs called and said that she was house sitting and they had a pool. Since it was still warm out we thought we would go over there and hang out awhile. Better then doing nothing or getting sand all blown in your face. So we went over to these randoms peoples house, and they had such a beautiful back yard, he designs pools soo their pool was really cool and it all had rocks in it and it was just really pretty. We swam for a few hours, just hung out! Took some more silly pictures ( I still need to get from Bry) but then Paris and Sienna had to leave because it was meeting night. I am not sure why we didn’t go to meeting the whole time lol I brought my stuff to and everything but we just didn’t. So we headed home and on our way stopped at the movie rental to get some movies for tonight. We ended up renting 6 movies that were all 1 night rentals. When we got home we had dinner and then we played dictionary again. This time I was on Sarah and Daniels team. Lets just say Daniel isn’t the funnest to play with lol Anyway after that we had to start our movie marathon. We started with a girly movie One Day…the most depressing movie ever..I knew it would be but the girls wanted to watch it lol then we watched a couple others..I cant remember what they were but we only got through about 2 full ones until everyone was asleep…except for me! Lol Wednesday we all woke up and it was perfect! Perfect blue sky..no wind..perfect beaches!! So we went and layed out on the beach and just hung out all day. That night we were planning on heading home. Alyce had stuff she needed todo and it was supposed to rain on Thurs. so we didn’t mind leaving a day early. Everyone else was coming come the next day. So when we got back to the house I thought we would just pack up and leave. So I was all packed up and kinda just waiting around. Alyce was all packed up but just sitting there. Just hanging out, not acting like shes getting ready to go or not saying anything just sitting there. So after about an hour of that..shes got up all quick and was like ok lets go!! I was oh..ok! Little did I know we were planning to carpool with Matt. Lol SO we were driving for awhile. On our way up I noticed these but I actually got a picture this time..but all along the Motorway there is little bridges every so often. They are for the Fauna’s and Koalas to cross so they wont get hit by the cars. I thought it was sooo cute! I didn’t see any animals in any of them but I still liked them!

When I got home, I unloaded all my stuff and then said thanks and bye to Alyce. When I put all my stuff in my room and went to say hi to Adam and Pip..Adam was right there, “We’ve missed you!!” and gave me a big hug!! That was nice, def made it feel like home. So then he went on about how tan I was and how I looked like a different person because I had so many freckles on my face and I had to tell them about what we did each day and it was good! On Thursday I had to get up pretty early and pack back up and head on out. I was headed to Mosman for a few days so I could see Racheal and all them before they left. So I think I left by 8am and got there around 9:30 - 10. Not a whole lot was going on we hung out for a bit, then we headed to Manly and the younger kids met up with some of the kids from the hall at this little waterslide thing. So me and Racheal just wandered around Manly and went shopping. I got a shirt, but she was getting souvenir stuff.

Then we went back home and hung out..talked about people we know again and talked about what were gonna do when I get back. Just random stuff. Played a few card games and a few games of dice. On Friday we just totally hung out for most the day, they were starting to pack up, but then we did manage to go down to the beach and walk around town a bit. Then we got ready to go, we were going over to a families for dinner from the Manly cong. They had a daughter that was about 19 and a son about 16. Madison the girl was super sweet and we got along good and talked about all the different places they have been and what she does down here and whatev whatev…lets just say they are very very wealthy. Lol It was lots of fun though. She said that we should meet up again…but lets see if that happens. Lol Anyway I had to still go home that night because I had Assembly the next morning. So once we left there house, it was about 10:30 and so the last ferry out that night was at mid-night…soo I still had some time to spare lol sooo we got back home and I think we played some more cards, watched a few dumb you tube videos. Then the time had come. I had to say goodbye to them, for the next 4 + months. Its amazing how close you can get with people in only a few weeks and spending bits of time with them but they really welcomed me into the family and made it feel like we had been friends all along. It was perfect timing, just what I needed. We even made plans to do stuff this summer when I get back soo it will be good to see them again! So off to the ferry I went. I was the only one on there and the ferry guy was all talking to me and everything and by the time I had to get off he had offered me a job at his bro-inlaws shop. Lol By the time I got home it was like 1:30 and then I still needed to shower and figure out what I was wearing and blah blah…lets just say I only got like 3 ½ to 4 hrs of sleep.

So on Sat I had to get up all early and do my hair and make some lunch. Rachel came about 8 and we headed to the Assembly Hall. We got there way faster then she expected soo we were super early…not that there was anything wrong with that. it’s a pretty big Hall hold about 6000 people. There was about 4500 there tops each day. I actually knew quite a few people I was surprised. Or maybe all the people I knew were just assaignd to this Assembly. Lol Assembly was good, I was totally un prepared. I left my notepad up in Forster and I had no candy at all L But It was all good. The C.O. is sooo funny he is Hungarian and soo he sounds just like Frànk from Father of the Bride. So it cracks me up listening to him but at the same time I have to listen very carefully because io can only understand a few words here and there.

 I got recruited into helping clean, which wasn’t to bad, but we did bathrooms and I couldn’t believe how disgusting they were..not dirty dirty just papper towels all over the floor and water everywhere and mirrors were disgusting. Then I found out they don’t have people come clean them during the session. Which I thought was weird, with that many people you gotta keep on top of it. After everyone was going out because a girl from the Gladesville cong (where everyone else goes) got baptized. So we get there and there is sooooo many people, at one point I counted and there was over 40 people on this huge table that was super long…and more and more people kept coming and they had to keep on adding more and more tables to it lol I think we used up all but 5 tables. It was a lot of fun, everyone was laughing at me because I got chickie nuggets and chips off the kids menu but I didn’t care..they were yummy!! Then we went home.

 I had Rachel drop me off at the towers so I could get notepad and candy. But K-Mart and everything was closed…blah. Coles was open though. So I found a dumb little notepad and I had tons of candy in my hands when I found the jackpot. All the Christmas candy 90% off!! YAY

So I got all these little chocolate balls and tons and tons of mini candy canes!!

Next morning, got picked up and off we went to Assembly. Met a lot of new people. Everyone was really nice. Rachel was making fun that I had Christmas candy but no one seemed to care…lol it was all gone fast enough. Besides all the candy canes I had at home lol There was a group going out somewhere but no one really wanted to go with them lol soo we decided to just have take away and go to the boys. (Ryan,Tong, Matt) We were smart and brought clothes this time, but I brought pants and it had warmed way up compared to this morning soo I was roasting! Especially when I was trying to get my moves on while playing Dance Central. I was doing that while a group was playing cards and then another bunch of people were watching a movie or something. Finally it got way to hot so I quit that and went for the ice cream and a movie! Then we went home.

I could finally just chillax and hang out with the girls. So Monday morning we just hung out. Watched all our cartoons and played Barbie and colored some pictures. By mid-day right after lunch I got a txt from Kathryn saying her and the boys are bored if we wanna come over we can….then she lures me even more…and you can come over and upload pictures or do whatever you need. Since the internet is limited I sometimes have to be careful on how much usage I am doing but since Alex works from home they have tons of Internet, so she totally got me by mentioning that. And it worked lol So we went over there and the kids just play all crazy and I uploaded my pictures. Then that night I worked on the dumb blog. I keep getting side tracked or it is taking way longer then I thought to get caught up with it. But I am trying! 2 more weeks and I will be all caught up!! Well that was my busy first week of the year!!

My Holiday!!

1.2.2012

So today it was raining!! Waaa L So we all just sat around trying to figure out what we should do. So finally around 11 we decided that we were all hungry so we were gonna go get breakfast! We went down to one of the resorts right on the beach and had breakfast or I guess you could say brunch! By the time we were done with that it had sorda stopped raining. So we went to look at the beaches and see how they were. The beaches had massive high tide and HUGE waves. Come to find out there was a cyclone up north a bit and so it was making the water pretty rough. So we went into town and went shopping for awhile just cause we had nothing else todo..we though maybe we could find a new game to play but we never found one. After awhile me and Alyce went up to a look out…it was really cool but it would have been a lot prettier if it was a clear day.

After that we went home and played more cards and just hung out. Alyce’s Nan..is 87 years old and is sooo funny. She asked the same question about a million times even though she knows the answer. I usually was the one to answer her because everyone just kinda ignored her after the first couple times. Or they would tell her crazy things. Like she asked us where we went? So we said It was raining so we just went to the shops. Then like 3 min later she asked us where we went? So we told her the shops. Then 2 min later she would ask where we went? So then someone would say “We went to the beach!” Then she would look at you and be like, “Oh no…its to cold for that…your mom said you were at the shops!” Lol it was so funny but every convo ended that way.

The next day it was perfect and sunny again!! YAY So we went down to the beach and Paris and Sienna and Tong met up with us. The beaches still had pretty high tide but the waves were huge and sooo fun to play in! So we stayed there pretty much all day. Everyone was laughing at my dorky sunburn! L

Then we just went home, and I suggested we play dictionary tonight then the usual card game. And everyone thought it was a good idea. So we did boys against girls!! It was fun, my team won..of course! LOL

Thursday it was sunny but super super windy. Probably had todo with the cyclone but it was a bit too windy to go to the beach right away. So instead we went to a couple of the Op-shops in town. (Goodwill’s) Everyone found quite a bit of stuff. I got the cutest little hippo picture frame. After that the wind had died down a bit so we went to the beach!

The water was super clear. Perfect for taking underwater pictures!! BUT my underwater camera died! L Thank goodness Bry had one and we got some awesome shots. I will have to upload the pictures when I get them from her.

Then we went home…and had dinner…and played cards. Lol It was so funny the girls dad (Craig) has been loosing a bunch of weight and is obessed with his juicer and every morning he would make juice for everyone and it was always the joke how it made you poo right away sooo everyone was farting up a storm the whole 2 weeks and then blowing up the toilet…and there was just one for all of us sooo it was the constant joke. And everyone called everyone Fluffheads!! Lol

Friday, I got up super early don’t know why? But since everyone else was asleep I went out on the porch and called Mom and Dad. Talked to them for a bit and had an argument how the town is Forster but you pronounce it Foster. They didn’t believe me even though they weren’t even down here. But anyway once everyone was up and Nan asked us a million times what we were doing we were finally off to the beach. We met up with Sienna and Paris and Tong and Matt. So we were there for a few hours but then it started get a bit overcast and then the clouds got really dark..so we decided to pack up and walked around down town..and got a coffee. In one of the shops I found my awesome glasses for only 5 dolla!! Everyone said they were sooo me! Lol

　

By this time it was getting later and we had dinner reservations at Hog Breaths café. So we all went home to take a shower and change! Dinner was lots of fun. Alyce brought the cards so we played cards. Can you say obssed lol anyway it was fun I was being loud, and we were all laughing and stuff then after awhile Alyce says to me..”I used to think that I was loud…until I met you” it just made me laugh..people under estimate my loudness until we are in public lol usually its just my laugh though!! Lol

So we had dinner then me and Rach got this huge brownie..ice cream..marshmallow thing. It was yummy! It was still pretty early and it was super nice weather out so we thought it would be fun to go down to the beach. So we went and hung out for awhile.

After that we went home. Rach wanted to pull an all nighter..which I was totally up for. Then we were all gonna go to the big sand dune and watch the sun rise. So me, Rach, Bry and Luka all stayed up and were watching movies…about 15 min into it Luka was out……we were watching Sleepover…its such cheese. Then we started watching another movie and by this time it was about 1:30...half an hour intp that one, Bry was out. Another hour Rach was out. So there I lay all by myself not tired..watching movies. We had to get up by 5 and dive into town because sunrise was at 5:35. So around 4:55 I was all trying to wake everyone up…and at the point I didn’t think I would have much luck..everyone was out and even when I nudged them they just seemed annoyed and didn’t get up. Finally Luka got up and plugged Rach’s nose or something and she was awake!! Really mad at him..but she was awake!! So we drove to town and we were meeting Tong and Sienna up at the dune. We got there just in time! It was very pretty! At one point it looked like something out of a Watchtower.

After that we went to Maccas and got coffee and brekky. I was still doing good.The no sleeping thing doesn’t faze me at all. Then we went home and waited for everyone else to get up.

Saturday was new years eve and we had plans to meet up with everyone. So fist we met up with Paris, Sienna, Ryan, Tong, Matt at the beach..was there for about an hour or soo. Then Paris had to go to work. Sienna and Ryan had already eaten..so they stayed on the beach but the rest of us went ot eat at the hotel seriously just right across the road from where we were laying on the beach. The food was EHH…nothing exciting. But it was funny because we were sitting outside and we were all yelling and talking to Ryan and Sienna still. Then after lunch we decided to go to the beach on the other side of town…that had a huge sand doon. Bry went down it first. Then I had to go. We were riding down it on boogie boards. So I ran and jumped on…laying on my belly…not thinking about it I was yelling WEEEE…all the way down. While sand was flying into my mouth. Lets just say I was crunching sand for the next couple hours. Yucky. Nobody else really did it…eventually Matt, Simon, Alyce and I went into the water but it was pretty rough and yucky, with seaweed and stuff. So we were only in for a bit. As it got later we went home again to get ready for that night…we were meeting up with a bunch of Forster people and eating pizza on the bridge and watching the fireworks…that were at 9:30...lame. So on our way into town I asked Alyce to stop at Maccas just sooo I could get something to eat..obviously because I don’t like Pizza. So we met up…lets just say Forster has some pretty interesting people. So we got the pizza…went on the bridge…watched the fireworks.

There was seriously like 5 rides lol but they were fun ones. Everyone kept handing me tokens for the bumper cars and then we went on a big twisty one. Which was super super fun!

After that we had nothing todo and everything was shut so we went home. On our way home was when it actually turned midnight!! It was soo weird…I was in 2012 before any of my friends backs home…weird!!

The next day we just went straight to the beach and was there pretty much all day! Matt came out..and hung out with us but I don’t know what everyone else was doing. That night everyone was getting together again and we were gonna have a bonfire on the beach. So I said lets make some s’mores!! All I got was blank stares…then they asked..what are s’mores?? I was shocked..come on how do you not know what a s’more is!! Lol So I had to explain it to them..”You know you have a gram cracker and roasted marshmallow with chocolate” Then they asked, what gram crackers were…uggghh how do you explain that. Its harder then you think. They still arnt to sure what it is. So on our way to the store to get the stuff, I called mom and asked her what an equivalent to a gram cracker would be….all she could come up with was a shortbread biscuit. So we got some. That night the whole family went to the tiny little bowling club, and got dinner it was funny/weird! Lol After that we headed to the beach and once everyone was there I told them I was gonna make them some s’more and one of the guys says..“Oh cool I have heard of those on movies” So I was making them….but there marshmallows down here are just weird too. So I mean it worked out ok but its totally not the same. Nobody really seemed that impressed! Lol oh well must be an American thing. We stayed there pretty late….everyone was boring and they could tel I was getting antsy soo I made them all play some dumb games..everyone seemed to have fun though!!

The Fire!!!

　

Monday, Alyce and me left pretty early and we were meeting up with Matt and we were going to spend the day with his family..up where they were camping! It was about an hour outside of Forster. It was a pretty drive. It looked a lot like back home…very flat with hills/mountains in the background. When we got there everyone was super nice. And it wasn’t just his family it was all his extended family and then his bro-in laws family and then people from the cong. There was a lot of people. So when we got there we all talked for a bit, then headed down to the beach. The water was pretty rough..but we got in anyway. It was fun for awhile and then the sea lice started attacking. (not the same as lice..lice) You just feel little stings all over your body, but you cant really see them. Super annoying and makes you really itchy! So we got out…layed around on the beach..I like his family they totally pig out when they are at the beach. We had chips..we had cookies….we have lollies!! I ♥ it! My kinda day at the beach. Everyone headed back to camp and we were gonna have a late lunch. When I got back to camp I noticed something way up on the self….a huge tub of Redvine from Costco. So I went over and asked it I could have some. His mom seemed kinda shocked…and she said, “If you like em you can have the whole thing…everyone here hates them. They have been spitting them out over there” She pointed and I looked and it ws a pile of half chewed redvine lol I was soooo excited…there was a half full bucket of Redvine all for me!! I was soo happy! I was just sitting there eating and everyone that came by was all “You like those? Weird!!” A few people had to try them again to see if they were as gross as they remembered. And they all still didn’t like them lol that’s fine weirdos…more for me!! :D

They made a huge full on bbq’d chicken and corn and salad and other stuff just for lunch but it was good. We started a game of 500...big surprise lol It was funny because some of the kids were all asking me weird questions about the US and thought it was sooo cool or the way we say some things. Matt’s bro-in law was one of the funniest people I think I have ever met…and hes a triplet…and they were all there with their families. Funniest bunch of guys!! So we stayed for awhile and then they got a fire started and then it was like 20 questions to Alyse because her and Matt have their thing goin on lol they both were sooo embarrassed but I thought it was soo funny! Then we headed home.

Fun Fun Fun!!

So I wasn’t sure how this week was gonna play out? With Adam being home and Pip and me. But on Tuesday we had a party at playgroup at this jungle gym play center. Which Adam was supposed to drive us to, because its quite aways away. But he ended up having to go into work that morning for a meeting or whatev…sooo I had to walk! We left like an hour ahead of time just because I didn’t know where it was or how long exactly it would take. Good thing we did too because Imogen had to go pee like every 5 min so we had to keep stopping and going into random business’s to let her use the toilet. We finally go there and all the kids went wild. Jumping on everything and running around..it was nice cause they just did whatev and we all got to sit there and have a coffee and they had food for us too! J So we were there for a couple hours..just like normal playgroup time. Then we headed on our journey back home. We stopped at this random craft store and I got some dumb things for the girls. Balloons and my little pony plates. Then when we got home Adam wanted to take the girls bowling. I was totally fine with that. So they all went and I was left watching Trinity. Which is super easy since she just sleeps lol so I just sat there and watched t.v. That night we just hung out.

Wednesday seemed a bit hetic but idk why? Adam was in and out of the house all morning doing lawn stuff then the girls just wanted todo everything. But around lunch time he said I was free to go!! WOOOO HOOOO Holiday time!!! Before I left I got to skype with Bry!! J So then I packed my over nighter and headed out. I went up to the Towers first because I needed a new phone..cause mine was just dead! So I got a cute new phone which works awesome..way better then my old one but its just black not pink L I was going to Mosman to hang out with my Americans for a few days!! So by the time I got to the city and on the ferry and there it was around 6: 30. So they picked me up and we spent about half and hour hanging out and then we went to the Manly meeting! It was good, they have quite a few younger ones in their cong but I only met a few. After meeting we went home and just watched movies and were being dumb!

The next morning we all slept in and didn’t really have any motivation todo anything, and we didn’t have any plans really. So finally Tiffany ( the mom) wanted to go to the biggest antique mall. So what the heck might as well. So all of us girls went! It was a really cool place and it was huge. They had all the old clothes and hats and everything…..duh its an antique shop. But we all found really dorky hats in the hat room and then we had to find a dress to go it. It was fun. It was like dress up!!

While we were there Tiffany thought it would be cool to have an official afternoon tea at the little café. So we all got tea and scones with jam and cream (our whipped cream)

Then after being there for like 3 hours all of us girls were totally over it. Tiffany wasn’t. So we just left and went to a park across the street.

Finally another hour later we went home. We had dinner and then we sat around and we started talking about all our friends!! That made me happy! Just silly things about everyone. J Then we went to get Slurpee’s

So then the next day, which is Friday. We didn’t really have much going on so we just roamed around the town of Mosmon. Looked into the little shops. Bought some things. Went out to lunch. By mid-afternoon I had to head back home. Because I had to pack and I was staying the night at Alyce’s. So when I got home I packed up all my stuff, I had a lot of junk…I always way over pack. She said we might be staying in a tent soo I brought warm clothes too and then some blankets. Pip walked by and laughed, because she always teases me about how much stuff I have. By this time it was around 8ish. Then after awhile they were heading to bed and Adam came and said bye and have a fun time, and gave me a bottle of champagne to bring up with me. Then Pip came and said , “Have fun, see ya next year!” It threw me back a sec. but then I thought about it and yep next time I would see them was next year. Crazy!! So then Alyce came and picked me up and then we grabbed something to eat and then went back to her house. We sat around and talked for awhile and then I helped her pack. But we were leaving pretty early in the morning so we didn’t stay up to late.

So Sat morning we left her house about 7ish and then we met up with Matt (Matt is originally from Forster but just moved in with the boys and him and Alyce have a total thing going on, yay me chaperon) anyway we met him at Maccas and had some brekky. Then hit the road. The whole time we were driving it was pretty much down pouring rain. So we were sad that it was gonna be all rainy the whole week. On the way there I found out that Alyce’s family had a house there and that we were staying there. I thought we were staying with Paris but I guess not. So we pulled in around 11:30ish and it was perfect weather and not a cloud int the sky. The house was teeny tiny! It was soo funny! But we just dropped our stuff off, got changed and went straight to the beach and met up with her family.

 That was probably the first problem…I wanted to go into the water right away so I did a fast sunblocking job. Then I didn’t think about it again. I forgot the Australian sun is soo different. We were only there a few hours but that’s all it took. I was a lobster! No so much on my front but my back….from my shoulders down to my ankles were RED!!!

After we left the beach we went into town and went to the store and looked for a snorkel for me…because all the store would be closed the tomorrow for Christmas. We didn’t find one but that’s ok..we got booze instead lol But as the night went on I was getting redder and redder. When we got home we had dinner and a bunch of us played cards. We played 500, its pretty fun!! We always play it…all the time!! Then it was time to sleep. By this time there was about 10 people in this tiny house!! So in one of the rooms there was a queen bed where Sarah and Daniel and their baby slept. Then in the same room there was a twin bed and then bunk beds. Alyce slept of the twin and Bry and me slept on the bunk beds. The next room was just a queen bed where Craig and Sandra (alyce’s parents) slept. Then in the front room they had to move the chairs into the kitchen and put down 3 mattresses for the reat of the people. So the house was pretty packed out I would say.

Sunday was Christmas sooo nothing was open. The beaches near us were kinda rough waves soo we went into town, to checkout the other beaches. They were way nicer but all of us were hungry so we all went to Maccas. After that headed to the beach. My back was still fried, so thank goodness Alyce had a little shade tent thingy. I put it up and was in there the whole time plus mass amounts of sunblock. We stayed there until 5 or 6ish and then we went home and pretty much did the same thing. Had dinner, played some cards and went to bed.

Monday was Boxing day, which is a public holiday down here, they have it in Canada too I think. But its just the day after Christmas and there is a bunch of sales on at the shopping centers. Nothing like black Friday. But still good sales and tons and tons of people. So We went into town went to some of the shops. Met up with Paris and her sister, they shopped a bit with us but they had work and stuff they needed todo. After shopping for quite awhile I ended up with a summer dress, sweat pants ( when I said I got sweat pants no one knew what I was talking about, they call them trekkies) a load of sunblock, and a couple other shirts! After that we were gonna go to the beach but when we looked at it the surf wasn’t very nice so we decided to go more in town and go to the lake and go snorkeling. So I went a got myself a snorkel and flippers and stuff..might as well. I will use them!! We did that for awhile, there wasn’t much to see though and I didn’t want to go that long cause I was worried my already sunburn back was gonna get more sun burnt! So we ended up going and getting coffee and an afternoon snack. Then did some shopping downtown. It started to rain a bit so it was good thing we stopped swimming. After awhile…or by the time the stores kicked us out we went home. Since it was raining there wasn’t much todo but play cards soo we did that. But tonight Alyce’s Nan (grandma) and her aunt were coming up to stay. So that was 2 more people that had to sleep somewhere in this little house!! But so far its been lots of fun and we still have over a week left of our holiday!!!

Nerf War!!

Ok so this week..I was sicky!! On Tuesday I woke up and still didn’t really have voice but it was more sinus pressure and clogged. So I was just blahhhh.

We still went to playgroup and the moms are all blah blah blah Christmas stuff this and Christmas stuff that soo annoying. But whatever I just played with the kids lol

I don’t really remember what we did that afternoon. But that night I just stayed in and watched a movie or whatever with Adam and Pip. Like 5 min after Adam and Pip went up stairs to bed I went into my room and I heard a tiny knock and I was thinking it was the cats or something…then I heard a knock on my window and Alex saying “ Lyndsey open the door..you gotta see this…I have beer if you want!” I just started laughing it was soo random. So I went to let him in and when I open the door he is standing there with a huge automatic Nerf gun. He was sooo excited…hes like you got to see what this can do, it’s a beast.” So we go to the playroom so it wont be as loud and he just starts shooting and there is Nerf bullets flying everywhere it was soo funny. Then all the sudden the door creaks open and Adam is there with his tommy gun and just starts laying into Alex hahaha it was this full on Nerf war. Then Adam was all giving Alex a hard time, “What are you doing? Just Hanging gout with my nanny? Why you even here?” It was really funny.

Wednesday I got my voice back but I just had the worst sinus ever..I have never had weird sinus pressure like that before. So today was the girls end of the school year/Christmas party. The teacher told me that the girls were making something for the parents soo that I or Pip needed to be there. Adam thought Pip should go, but she didn’t want to bring the baby. So I got to stay home with Trinity and watch TV while Pip and the girls had to walk to the dumb little party!! That afternoon I was still feeling just blahhh I don’t remember what we did…I was on a lot of meds this week. Lol By the time it was meeting I just couldn’t pull myself together to go..I didn’t want to get everyone all sicky. At about 8: 30 Alex called me and was like are you doing anything?? And I wasn’t I was sitting at home on my bed. So he asked if I could babysit for like a couple hours while him and Kathryn went to the movies. And I could use their Internet, because they have a whole bunch. So I went over there and watched a movie and uploaded some pictures of different things. I got paid $50 for just sitting there. That was cool!

Thursday was just another blah day at home…didn’t do much in the morning. Then in the afternoon Pip went shopping…I got to stay home with the baby!! J That night we watched Christmas Vacation…its sooo funny!! I love it!!

Friday was cleaning day…YAY…not! Actually Pip did most of it soo it wasn’t bad. But I got everything done real quick because Adam was bringing his whole office over for a lil Christmas brunch or whatever. So after I got everything done..me and the girls went over to our new neighbors, they have a little girl named Lilly that is the girls age and they absolutely love her. The mom is like the sweetest person in the entire world. So we talked and had tea while the kids played. They finally we went back over to our house and all the office people were there and so the girls had todo a fashion show for everyone and bring out every piece of dress up clothes. When they all left Adam was off work for 3 weeks!! Woo!! So then…it seems like they all went to the store or something and I was stuck watching Trinity and watching the telly all afternoon. Which is fine by me lol That night I have no clue what happened..don’t remembers…just watched a movie I think!

Saturday I could finally sleep inn..which was sooo nice because I didn’t have a super painfull head ache when I woke up! Adam and Pip were having some friends over soo I tried to leave the house before then, just cause I feel like I am always lingering around. So I walked up to the Towers and wondered around. I got some more medicine and a diet coke…I think that was all I got. Nothing very exciting! I would have probably gone and done something but Adam was making this huge dinner, for us and Alex and Kathryn and some other friends. He had it planned for like months but it kept getting pushed back and back, finally everyone could do it. So I felt bad leaving. So we had this huge dinner and Adam went on and on and on about how wonderful it was and his hazelnut stuffing and his perfect gravy yadda yadda. But see I totally don’t even like any of that stuff. But he made me try all of it lol The turkey was very very good!! But the rest was just ehhh…I would never tell him that though lol

Sunday morning I got up super early and caught the bus into the city and then the ferry into Mosmon. And this is the weirdo people that are on the early ferries lol

He was totally passed out....it was sooo funny i had to take a pic!

I got there right on time for them (Racheal) to pick me up and off to meeting we went! So we went to meeting and I got to meet a few nice people not very many my age. After meeting we went for a bush walk up to some old military site and found cannons and tunnels and weird stuff that we weren’t really supposed to go into but everyone does lol

　

　

　

Then we walked down to a little beach and there was a few little cafés and sandwitch shops. We stopped at one and all got lunch right on the beach. I feel like such a little kid because the dad Randy totally buys all my food when I am with them. I feel kinda bad but then it is nice because nobody ever does that for me lol There was this guys sitting there playing guitar and some times singing. I felt bad because nobody was clapping so after he finished his one song me and Rachel all clapped and I yelled a little. I have never seen someone turn that bright of a red so fast!! Lol So then he did another song and during that we decided we had to get a picture with him! J

　

　

　

The beaches here, are always packed! They have the water..big picnic areas and big parks and even swings for disabled kids lol

　

　

　

I so wish I had my wheel chair to try it out in. But even then you have to have a special key they give disabled kids!

That night we had reservations at the one Mexican restaurant that we have heard of. So we went and it was eh ok but nothing like back at home!! They did have tons of sombreros for everyone to try on..that was cool!! After that we went down to the beach and just walked around. There was hundreds and hundreds of Blue Bottle Jellyfish all washed up on the shore. They arnt poisonous but they hurt when they sting you (Ive heard) They weren’t that big but they were just this cool dark blue color. Anyway as we were walking down the beach we found a dead puffer fish! So we had to take a bunch of dumb pictures with it lol

After that I had to decide if I wanted to go home or if I should stay the night and go home early morning?? Hmmm what to do? So I stayed and we played spoons again! And just hung out!

I was being tricky and I knew Adam was home so it wasn’t a big deal if I was a bit late. So instead of getting the ferry at 6am and getting home by 8. I slept inn a bit longer and got into the city around 7:30ish. I txt Adam and said that sorry I am running late, but im on the bus, on my way home! He had no problemo with it and just asked what time I would be getting there. I said around 9ish. So as I am riding back it just starts dumping rain…just poaring! So I am thinking great I have to walk back like 20 min in this horrible rain. So I get off the bus at my stop and start walking super fast because what am I gonna do I have to get home and its raining!! Then what do I see….Adam right there waiting for me!! I was sooooo happy!! So he brought me home and then Pip and him went to some Apt. so I just did our normal Monday stuff!! I don’t remember exactly what we did?

But I know its gonna be a good week because I am almost on holiday!! Woop woo
